Hello Everyone,
Day 4 of my new normal. It’s a little weird. I rested most of the day and had Chintan from HHA come by today. He arrived around 11AM and we decided it was premature to start any rehab. He was going to see what Kass said. Then I went with John to Ted Zelman’s office. I was impressed by Ted and I’m wondering whether this will go anywhere, but I’m not going to worry about it. I think if nothing else, they well manage the medical bills. I’m not really interested in a money settlement, but of course I could always spend that. I’d pay off my credit cards first. I’m definitely going to sell my Harley. I’m wondering if I should go ahead with the new things I ordered. I especially think the engine guards would be a plus and of course the saddle bags. But the handlebars not so much. Anyway, I did order them so I think I’ll go ahead and just bump up the price a little. Not sure if that will work or not. I just know that I’m going to keep Cierra. Sorry about that, but really, I have no business riding a Harley, even though I have been having fun. I think I may keep the scooter. Not sure about that. I’ll make that decision later. I just hope I can keep my sanity and learn to be patient.
I go back to Dr. Guzman tomorrow. I hope he likes how I’m healing – if I am. I know that I’m not getting as much blood from the wound. I think that is positive. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted.
I’ve been watching a lot of the Olympics. I didn’t want to do that originally, but I’m glad they are on so I get a variety of shows on TV.
My kitties are happy I’m home. I don’t like not being at work because of my concern for Lily who ultimately has to do my work for me. I’m concerned about payroll. I wonder when ADP is going to kick in.
I’m learning a lot about insurance. I was impressed by Michelle who works for Ted. She seems to know a lot about what goes on. I thought she was the receptionist at first, but I think she is a paralegal. So more will be revealed and I’ll keep coming back to continue the saga.
Jeff is going to drive me to Ft. Myers tomorrow. I want to get up and wash my hair tomorrow. What a pain that is. I haven’t taken a shower since Sunday morning. Had a little sponge bath at the hospital. I’m not good at that. I’ll do a little sponge bath tomorrow too.
Well I’m going to put my feet up and watch some more Olympics. I think it should be over on Saturday or Sunday. I have next week off also. Hope I get to drive soon.
