I am really sorry I won’t be going out to Yellowstone this year. I’ll have to try again next year. I think I’d like to stay longer than 4 days though. Luckily, they have a small camper that I can use to sleep in so it won’t cost for overnight accommodations. At least that is my thinking, but I could be wrong.
Last night I was watching TV and got this wonderful picture of Wylie and Domino sharing a space – almost unheard of!

I think I found out that my rash on my back was caused by the leather couch not allowing my skin to breath, so I put the quilts on the couches and the rash is much better. So I guess, that it wasn’t caused by the antibiotic after all. Dr. Ross was the one that came up with that scenario. Guess he was right. Happy to know that, but just to be safe, I’ll put that medicine on my list of “possible” allergic reactions.
So last night I got to go to the 5:30 and the 7PM meetings at NAC. It was a great way for me to use my time constructively. At our Traditions meeting there was a comment about whether the Big Book was changed at any time. The question was about the use of the word “Rarely” in How it Works. Someone said that the word was changed from “Never”. Well, I disagreed with that and said Bill W was asked once, “What would the one word be that you would change if you had the chance to do that?” He said he would have used the word “Never” rather than the word “Rarely” in How it Works. So to prove a point, I went to the original manuscript that is available with all of the markings and cross outs and notes in the margin and this is what I found:

By the way, Ron L was at that meeting last night and he was the one that gave me that book on behalf of the work I had done for Intergroup a number of years ago. I should take some time to read through it. It would be a great lesson. Perhaps I could do that with my sponsees as a project. We could meet once a week and go through that. That could be a good thing to do and I’d get to know Jayne and Mia better. I guess I could ask my sponsor about that. A good reason to call Amy.
Did I tell you how much I love my new Skybell? Roy and I tested it yesterday. He stopped by my house when I was at church and rang the bell and it sent a text to my phone. I could see him. Next time, I’m going to film it. I think I have a way to do that. I’m going to play with it today to see if that can be done.
Today I have an appointment with Dr. Guzman. I’m going to drive myself to the appointment, now that I know the way by heart. The weather is supposed to get nasty today with the tropical depression we have in our area, but right now it is beautiful. It looks like it will get rainy around noon time when I should be coming home.
