#327 Good Morning Thursday, October 12, 2016

Good Morning Everyone,

So today I feel really blessed!  I received a check from my accident and found out from Tony Gualario that money from personal injury awards is not taxable!  Who knew?  So now I have a request to meet with John Beane sometime to figure out what to do with the money financially.  What I understand is that there is a list of bills that I will still be responsible for totaling around $18K.  My check was for $24K so that is a difference of $7K.  But the insurance company may pay down on those bills so it’s a waiting game.  Then we still don’t know about Medicare, LMH & UMR.  Michelle said that once they hear from them, they will satisfy the liens and I’ll get the proceeds.  So I could get more money later.  It all seems strange to me, but I’m glad that I went to Ted Zelman for this work.  I don’t know how I would have done this on my own.  I couldn’t have done it!

So today is the Moe’s Run after work.  I have done it 2 times, this will be the 3rd.  I have to remember to get a shirt this year.  Last year they only had small’s left and it was way too small!  Maybe Tessa can get a supply for our team.  I may do the “short” run this time.  We’ll see.

Then I’ll go to the Cookie Meeting – a little later than usual.  Probably get there just at 8 or so.

So I’m now without Cierra.  Sold it to John.  He is very happy. I’m happy too.  Tony told me that as long as I didn’t make more money on the sale than I paid for it, then there is not tax.  So now the question is, do I include the money I got for it from insurance or just the $1000 that I got from John.  More shall be revealed.

Well that is all the time I have today.  Thanks for visiting.  See you next time!
