Hello Everyone,
Yesterday was Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful day. Jeff brought me to Kathy Shephard’s house. What a great morning. The food was perfect and we met some new friends. I was talking to a girl name Sam and her husband had an unusual name – can’t think of it right now. Our conversation revolved around motorcycle accidents. He was on crutches and had broken his knee in an accident. But then she showed me her Harley Trike. WOW! I’m in love again! She invited me to come over and drive it and then she said I should go to Harley and try to get a used one (they rent them out). I can’t see anything less than about $12K for one. If I trade in Red2 I might be able to finance $9K possibly. I’ll be going over to see her today on Red2 and we’ll see if I like riding the Trike. It looks really cool and it was something that I never thought about before. The best part is that when you come to a stop, you don’t need to put your feet down because it stays up. Let me see if I can get a picture of one from the website.
The Harley Trike
Until I saw her on this, I never thought about getting one of those. She said that it rides like a motorcycle, but it has a great trunk to go grocery shopping with and it even has a “reverse” to back it up since it weighs a lot. Not sure how much, but what the heck. It’s worth a little “shopping” on Black Friday. Plus, I’ll be in with Harley again. I’ll still be a little of an “outcast” from my friends, but who cares. It’s all about me anyway don’t you know! So I just texted Sam to see when we can meet up. I hope I didn’t do it too early for her. Don’t want to piss her off. So more will be revealed. She just texted me. I’ll be over there around 10ish. That works great because I want to go to the 8AM meeting. It’s gonna be a great day today!

Last week we had the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. It was great. I think I posted a picture of me and Becky on my last post. But one of the things we did was have a little silent auction with paintings from the group who do the Art Moai at work. I won 2 paintings for $35. Here they are on my porch!

I really love them on the porch. My “Heart” basket fell apart. I think that Metaxa jumped on it chasing a lizard, but not sure about that. We’ll go with that story. Anyway, now this is the new look. LOVE IT!
We’ll I’m getting ready to go to the meeting at 8. Will continue the story as the day progresses. Wish me luck!

Me & Trike
I bought it. Traded in Red2 and put down $5000. Thank you Jon! I’m going to test drive it today. Should have done that yesterday, but oh well. Jackie made me think about that when I sent her the picture. I’m pretty excited about it and a little afraid, but I think I’ll learn to love her. Just need to find the right name for her. I’m calling her Trike for now.
Spent the night with Jeff last night. I’m home now, and will be going to the 8AM meeting and then on to Harley for the big test drive at 10. As much as there could have been cheaper ways to get my Harley fix, I’m ok with this. I figure after 6 months, I’ll refinance this. Get a better rate. Harley has financed me for 7 years so I’m not sure I can get a better payment. But Jeff says, when I get the next payment for my accident, I should pay her off. Still concerned about the remaining medical bills, but he said not to worry and let the attorney deal with it. I haven’t been billed for things recently. My credit rating was 839 yesterday, so it hasn’t affected that yet. Time will tell.
So I’m excited about today. I may ride Red2 there. I may leave Red2 at the Harley dealership and then have Jeff pick me up. then we can go to Food Angels. But then again, I really need to ride Red2 to work on Monday so I can ride Trike home after work. First stop – Sam and MaGoo’s house! Or maybe they will be there. It’s gonna be fun! I think I’ll wear my full face helmet with her. Maybe not. I like the air flow of the half helmet with the drop down visor. I do like covering up my face though when I ride. I make pretty funny faces when I get nervous about a gear etc. Well I’ll see how it all works out and I know it will.
