Good Morning Good People,

I haven’t posted since my trip to Yellowstone.

Gate at Yellowstone

I am still feeling amazing from that trip, but I also went to Savannah with Suzanne and Heidi.  It was wonderful.  We rented a house for a week that was beautiful.

Jennifer and Janet were supposed to go too, but they had to cancel.  So a house for a week that was supposed to be split 5 ways, is now split 3 ways.  A little more money than I wanted to spend, but we had a super time.  Ate and visited so many super places.  Lots of homes and a super cemetery tour at Bonadventure.  It was really fun.  I tried to send pictures this morning to my email, but they are “lost in cyberspace” so I’ll need to put them in later.

One Fish Two Fish

Of course there was a lot of shopping – Suzanne & Heidi at One Fish Two Fish which ended up being at the end of our street and our landmark.

Desserts galore at a super little sports bar right behind our house.  Hurricane Michael was supposed to blow through, but it didn’t happen, but we stayed close to home just in case.  We could see it from our back yard.  The deep fried pound cake was probably 100 points – it was SO GOOD!

I bought this for my RV…….

So Cute!

Here is another restaurant that was great.  It was run by the students of Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).  They were all over the town.  This one was really good!  Tuition $60K a year!  YIKES!

I bought a JEEP Grand Cherokee Laredo so I can pull an RV.  I traded in my Kia Soul (which I figured was my last car) but they gave me $8K for it so it was great.  I now have a beautiful JEEP that has leather seats and a sunroof that I would have never picked out on my own.

Jeep – Otis

It is a 2013 but has less miles on it than my Kia.  The funny thing is, that it is the same color as my KIA.  As I was driving to the airport last week to go to Savannah, as soon as I got on 75, the check engine light came on.  But I had to drive to the airport and was hoping I could get back to Naples after my trip with no issues.  I shared in a meeting how that happened, and 2 people came up to me (plus Bette later on) suggested that I tighten the gas cap and it should turn the light off.  Well, it took a day to work, but now the light is off.  Funny thing, I got back to the dealer on Saturday from the Airport, and the service guy John, said that it may be a thermostat.  So I set up an appointment for this morning thinking it was weird that he would wait until Wednesday to bring me in, but as it worked out, I didn’t need to take it in anyway.  So I guess it is OK now.  I love the JEEP.  So glad I have it now.  It takes up the entire garage.  I have my Trike at Everglades Motorcycles on consignment.  When it sells, I’ll get $14.5K for it.  That will be just about enough to buy the RV I’m looking at so it’s a trade off.  I’m obsessed with finding the RV.  I’m having trouble finding storage for it.  I think I’ll just need to drive around the industrial areas off Airport and Pine Ridge to find covered storage.  I may do that today a little.

The pictures still are not in my in box……let me see if they are in spam for some reason……nope.  Will be back later to finish up.

See you later!
