Good Morning COVID-19 Survivors! We’re getting to the end of the tunnel I believe. I know this because Bill and Cathy are leaving in a week to go to Yellowstone for a shortened summer season. That is progress. So yesterday I practiced with Otis2 and Daisy:

Here we are rounding the corner to my house – Bill took the picture! So then later in the day, Bill and I took Daisy & OTIS2 to Kartchner so I could practice pulling OTIS2 behind Daisy. We noticed that the rig seemed to “float” a little while driving. I noticed that when I was driving west from Florida last month. It’s been 1 month since I got to Benson! Can’t believe it! A lot has happened in that month. So after hooking OTIS2 up, Bill suggested that I get a little wooden dowel put in a wooden block to measure the distance for me to drive up to Daisy in OTIS2 so I don’t have to keep getting in and out of the car. GREAT IDEA! He reminded me that he’d been a “solo” RVer for 29 years before he was with Cathy and had her help, so his suggestions were “spot on”!
Just finished the 8AM meeting! It was great – such a great way to start the day! I have the windows open and this is happening:
We can hear the birds singing. It is nice and cool this morning so I’m going to keep the windows open until it hits 80. I was working on this the other day:
I was hoping I could set it up on the porch, but it was just a “touch” too big. It looks pretty good at the end of the carport, but one of the pole pockets has ripped up and needs to be repaired. I’m wondering if I can sew a patch on it. I may try to do that because I still want to use this screen house. I doubt I’ll be able to do that, but I’m going to try. Today is going to be laundry day and then I’m not sure what else I’ll be doing. I know I’ll go to ACE – my favorite place and get a DOWEL! But that is all I think I have to do so it will be reading – getting close to finishing “The Camel Club”. Discovered “BOSS” on STARZ through Amazon Prime yesterday with Kelsey Grammar. It is about the mayor of Chicago and all that they do to get things done in Chicago – plus he is dealing with Louie Body Dementia. It’s really good! I think I watched 5 episodes yesterday!
I decided to take you on a video tour of the whole house. It’s 15 minutes so it might bore you, but I wanted to do it all in one video rather than trying to break it up. Thanks for your patience, but at least you’ll see where I’m living and how the house turned out. I’m really happy with everything out here. So glad I made the decision to do this RVing thing and now I have a “home base” and can’t wait to go camping. It’s going to happen soon and I’ll take you along!
Thanks for visiting and remember: Be Calm, Be True, Be Quiet!
