I’m starting a new blog post today because the other one got a little long. It’s a beautiful day here in MESA ARIZONA! I love this place. We have everything we need here and it is so nice to have such a beautiful, quiet neighborhood to live in. VERY HAPPY!
They found the sun this morning! They don’t spend much time together so this is a great shot of them.
They are so much fun to watch! What a great addition to the family!

I decided a while ago that I was not going to the AA Convention in Vancouver but I got an email about getting a mug with the LOGO on it. It arrived last night:
I went for a walk this morning on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. It was in Gilbert. I got there at 8:30 and by the time I left, it was pretty hot. I did see this big white Crain today:

Hiked again today, March 27, 2025. It was hot again early – 9AM but we’re supposed to get some cooler temperatures in the next day or so:
Today is Friday, March 28, 2025. Bill and Cathy and WINSTON are leaving for Yellowstone. They are staying at Lake Pleasant near Phoenix tonight. Then it’s off to UTAH. I envy them a little, but I love my life. I don’t think I’d like 7 months up there but they LOVE IT!
For the last 3 years, I’ve gotten a video of their departure to YNP. This is what we have this year. Better than nothing. They are at Lake Pleasant which is just an hour from me here in MESA so I HAVE TO GO THERE! This is what greeted them:

We have 17 rigs signed up for Lost Dutchman for 2026. Only 12 more and we’re FULL! YAY!
This is the best interview about DOGE. It is amazing how these powerful, accomplished businessmen are working to make our government more efficient!
Starting this again on Saturday, March 29th. I wonder where Bill and Cathy & Winston are tonight?
I went for another hike to Usery Regional Park today and made it the 2 mile route I’ve determined.
I was thinking that I’d like to camp at Lake Pleasant Regional Park before it gets too hot this summer and I can sneak one in before my trip to Willcox with RVW. I made a reservation at the Roadrunner Campground – site #68. Electric and water. I want to tow the JEEP because it isn’t very far from home – only a little over an hour. I want to check out the area for potential group camping with RVW. The other campground there is Desert Tortoise Campground. I think Desert Tortoise has better views of the lake, but there was nothing available. So since I’ll have the JEEP, I can explore. I’m taking Metaxa with me to keep me company!
These will be my temperatures next week when I’m camping on Thursday and Friday. I’m looking forward to it a lot. Hope to see wild donkeys!

There is a new ALERT for Dead Horse Ranch for next April. I’ll try to sign up for that next week. It’s a nice place. We’re going at a different time than we did this year. It was TOO HOT this year.

I tried a different hike yesterday at Usery. It was the Blevins Trail. It was 3 miles long and all desert. Just beautiful. It’s getting too hot to try it for this year, but when it cools off in the fall, I’ll do it. It is really great!
