RV Life with DAISEE2 #21 Sunday, July 17, 2022

Good Morning Everyone,

It’s been a while since my last blog.  Things are pretty simple these days.  It’s very hot in Tucson so we aren’t doing much and plus gas is so expensive that we are just chillin out at home.  But that’s ok.  We did get a chance to take DAISEE2 out for a ride the other day and get her weighed.

We took her just up one exit to the Rita Road exit and there was a Pilot there with a CAT scale.  She only weighs a little over 12K pounds.  That is GREAT.  So I have room to add more things to her if needed.  I’m looking forward to my trip to GREER on the 27th.  It is with RVW and is a dry camping situation.  No hook ups.  It’s supposed to be in the 70’s during the day and the 50’s at night.  It is in the White Mountains.  I’m going to try out my new GPS by Rand MacNally.  Not sure how it works, but I’m also going to use my iPad for navigation.  I’ve checked the route numerous times.

So this is our morning routine.  We begin with coffee in the “back yard”

Then we move to the “front yard” and finish our coffee.  It gets hot in the back with the sun, but we’re protected in the front:

I was trying to determine when I got my rocking chair.  I was under the impression that Bill gave it to me years ago, but he doesn’t remember so now I’m not sure when I got it and who gave it to me.

Bill and Cathy went for a hike:  Look where they ended up!

Mount Washburn – over 10K Feet!
