Good Morning Everyone,
Today is my mom’s birthday, She would have been 108. WOW!
I had a great childhood. My parents were great. Only fond memories of my childhood. It was a blessing!
So I reached out to Heidi the other day and she said that Suzanne, Janet and she were going to go to Vegas and then the Grand Canyon. They are planning to be out here the first week of May. So I made a reservation for Daisy and Luci and me at a place called Raptor Ranch RV Park. I originally made a reservation at the KOA in Williams, but when I mapped from there to El Tovar (the hotel where they are staying at the GC) it was 2 hours. This place is only 30 minutes from the hotel. So I’m going there instead. It seems like it’s pretty small (35 sites) but it has a little diner there and a “village” of the Flinstones. Additionally, they have demonstrations of raptors and other birds of prey. It should be interesting. I’m staying 4 nights there. Let me see if I can get some info on it to add here.
We’ve been getting snow on the mountains. This is what our mountains look like with snow on the top!
I may have mentioned this before, but lately I’ve been hiking (taking my walk) at the Saguaro National Park. It is really amazing. I don’t know why it took me so long to start doing that. The park is only 10 minutes from my house and I’ve begun to recognize the hikes. It’s really cool. Here is a picture from yesterday:

I found this picture of a sunset at the Grand Canyon. It would be cool to see something like this in person when I meet the girls in May!
