RV Life with DAISEE2 #45 Thursday, April 6, 2023

Good Morning Everyone. Today we begin a new chapter with our lives. We sold Luci yesterday! WOW! We sold it to Don Thompson, a car buddy of Jack’s. So she is still “almost” in the family. Here she is with her new siblings:

It’s great that she will be inside now! You can see me in the trunk of the purple car – don’t know the year but Jack does! It is actually black and is a 50. His orange and white one is a 54.

I didn’t have Luci for long – just 8 months. I told Jack that if it wasn’t for RVW we would never have done this. But ultimately, we’ll be happier towing the Jeep and I think Jack likes the idea of driving the JEEP more than the VW. It was fun to drive and got good gas mileage, but the JEEP will be fun too! We’re going to set it up with the towing gear. We’re looking for conversion items from a Roadmaster to a Blue Ox. Not sure we know whether we’re getting the right stuff, but I’m sure we can get some advice from Alex at Quality Bumper. Time will tell.

So I introduced Trvaler to DAISEE2 yesterday:

Now that I think about it, if I had just kept Otis2 with Daisy, I would have saved a LOT of money. Oh well, that’s life and it’s only money – what else is it for, but to enjoy it! So now we’re full circle!

Bill and Cathy are on their way to Yellowstone now. They left on Tuesday. They are in UTAH now and they ran into this:

I am beginning to like Madeline a bunch. She is an engineer, been in the Army, is teeny tiny and drives a big ole CLASS A. She is just great!

I just got the alert about Lost Dutchman for next March. I’m signed up and paid my deposit. YAY!

We’re getting new tires for the JEEP today. It’s only money! Last night we had a beautiful sunset!

This is the reason for our new name – TRVALER

Today is Saturday, April 8, 2023. It’s our 18th Month Anniversary! Congratulations to US!
