Good Morning Everyone,
Just got back from our “test run” towing Trvaler to Kartchner. It was SUPER!

In my last blog, I showed Daisy towing OTIS2. Looks pretty similar, but the back window was straighter than this one and it was a newer JEEP Wrangler. We’re taking Trvaler in on Thursday for a “check up” before my big trip to The Grand Canyon, next Wednesday. So far, our towing equipment works great. I feel really good about towing the JEEP.
Here we are in Site #2:

We decided we like the lower loop better. The views are better from those sites. There were no special sunrises or sunsets this time around, but the sky was bright blue and the temperature was great. It got a little hot, but cooled off nicely when the sun went down. The stars at night were super.
While we were there, we took to JEEP to CT-RV to visit with RICH. There is now a house next to him in the vacant lot. We think they put it on backwards and way too close to the house. What do you think?

We could be wrong about that, but it seems way too close and at least he should be looking into the carport – at least there are only the 2 windows on this side of the house, but they are just too close to his living room windows. He didn’t seem to be worried about it, but as time goes on, he may. Or not, hard to tell with him. He’s pretty laid back!
Here is Trvaler in his driveway:

Barry built him a shed. IT’S AMAZING! Plenty of room under the carport for his JEEP and Town Car. So he’s set. He said he is really happy there. I love his “vintage” (’60’s/70’s) furnishings and his bedroom furniture is beautiful. Very dark and fits perfectly. He even got a wardrobe for the bathroom next to the shower like I had. He put Jack’s bed in the “den” so it’s a bedroom for the kids/grand kids.
We took a trip to Tombstone on Tuesday. I wanted to buy a couple of things for “the girls” for next week and we had lunch at Big Nosed Kate’s. It was really good. There was even live music while we were there for lunch:

This guy was pretty good, although this short doesn’t show it that well. He plays for 4 hours! WOW! That sure is different than I remember music in bars to be. Anyway, we had fun. It was a great day!
I wanted to print a picture of Carolyn Higgins and me in Q, but can’t figure out why I can’t get it on my KODAK app. Anyway, this is the picture:

Cuteness overload!

Went for a hike today – Sunday, April 30. Haven’t done it in a week or so and I felt it. Then we had pancakes for breakfast. They were delicious. I saw these Saguaro’s on my hike – getting ready to bloom:

Bill and Cathy are still dealing with snow. This is how they have to grill out:

So the JEEP came with a bent bumper and Jack wanted to fix it so……..

And finally!
