Good Morning Everyone,
I went for a walk at Saguaro National Park this morning beginning at 8AM. I thought it would be early enough but I was wrong. It got HOT fast. But I did see a few beauties today:
I’ve been watching the Saguaros blossoming. This is a great one I saw today. Still many more blooms to show up. It will be interesting to see how long they last. But I probably won’t know because it is way too hot to hike in the desert. Guess I’ll just have to watch YouTube to see them blossom more. Lots of lizards this morning. Here is a big one:
Last night there was a beautiful sunset:
We even had a wonderful lightening storm. It was so cool!
Discovered that there is a state park in Winslow, AZ.
I’d love to go up there before my June 21st trip, but not sure I can sneak it in. Let me see if I can get the video they have on the website:

Got it. I saw some pictures the other day of the area and there were wild Burros. Exciting! Plus I’d be able to “stand on the corner” in Winslow, AZ!
So I’ve been looking at an app for exercising. It’s called JustFit. I signed up for it for a year – really probably too long, but you never know. That’s what I said about 10% Happier and I’ve been doing it for about 3 years now. ANYWAY, I started it yesterday and did it again today. It’s short exercising and I put in my stats and in about 3 months I could be down to my fighting weight of 125. That’s my goal.
It has the same type of calendar that 10% Happier has and shows you what is next. Right now I’m in the beginning phase which I believe concludes with tomorrow’s exercise. I’m doing it in between the end of my morning meeting and getting with Jack for coffee – around 7AM. Two days in a row now. We’ll see how it goes. So far, the sessions have only been under 10 minutes. Looking forward, I see 15 minute workouts. I can probably do that. Anymore though might be problematic. Time will tell. I’ll keep you posted.
Bill and Cathy got a chance to go camping at Yellowstone. Here is a great picture of them. Bill is growing a beard!
