Good morning everyone. Today is Saturday and I slept in to 5:15! That is pretty good. Saturdays I don’t go to my morning meeting in an attempt to sleep in, but Metaxa is my alarm clock and gets me up anyway. Oh well. That is okay with me. So last night we had a great sunset:
Across the street from us is a place where they have parties and celebrations. Last night there must have been a party of some sort because we saw fireworks shooting up for about 10 minutes. It was so cool. Love where I live!
I’m thinking about my trip to Show Low next month. Eric from Nomadic Fanatic has set up a base camp there. He is trying to set it up so he has a place to stay when he gets out here. It’s fun watching his progress. I might try to find him when I get up there. I’ve also set up a trip to Fool Hollow in JULY too. It will be nice to get out of the heat here.
I bought a drum the other day from Amazon for Daisy. I thought it would be nice to have it to play a little inside her. It looks like this – only 6 inches – doesn’t take up much room!
Bought this really cool cat from Lisa Leduc – someone I met on FB. She has an ETSY shop. Only $20 – hand done. SO CUTE – I asked her if she made another one if I could buy another one for Daisy. I originally bought it for Daisy, but when I put it here, I liked it!
Now I want one for Daisy too. We’ll see if that happens. I’ll let you know!
So this happened this morning:
I’ve been collecting Harvest Host locations by way of a FB group. Here is one I want to try on Route 66 in New Mexico.
Jack and I should take a road trip one day soon and try it out. Probably not until the fall. But we may try that Eastern trip to Kentucky this year. We’ll see. Right now I just want to stay around here and discover what I have in my own backyard. There are places here to stay. I might plan a trip to Catalina and then come back to Tucson and stay at Little Anthony’s. That might be a fun thing to do. I’ll let you know how it goes. Also, Lost Dutchman is close by or Picacho Peak. Lots of opportunities!
