Good Morning World,
So Cathy, I’ve changed the rules. I woke up this morning with a “desire” to add a post to Wylie. Not sure why, but I woke up this morning after having an interesting dream. I was dreaming I was with Polly and John in Paris of all places. Here is a picture of Polly and John.
Somehow we were in some type of a walking race (probably due to the Moe’s Corporate Run last week where Polly and I were in it, but she was running and I was walking in the opposite direction). Polly’s mom was in the dream too and that was because her mom just completed 21,000 miles at her “Hiking Club” in Ohio. Here she is:
Guess which one is her mom! Anyway, we were in a room waiting for mom to finish the race when we got word by text message that she was going the wrong way, so we all rushed out to find her in the crowds. That’s when I woke up. I guess I’ve been shaking up the family roots since I watched the Democratic Debate last night on my cell phone since I don’t get CNN on my TV. It’s actually really great to do it that way. I plug in my earphones to keep Domino relaxed and watch it on my phone. I watched the Republican Debate that way also. I thought Anderson Cooper did a commendable job of keeping the peace. I was impressed by Bernie Sanders and Hillary. I thought O’Malley was interesting also. The other 2 were not so great. But having 5 on the stage rather than what is it 25 for the Republicans???? (I exaggerate – but not by much) is much more sane. So I figure Mom woke up rolling over in her grave when I’ve decided I LIKE HILLARY and she certainly looked great – hair and make-up impeccable especially her hair was SUPER. But anyway, this morning she was touted as the winner:
I watched the debate until about 10:30 last night – way past my bedtime, but I found it very interesting. I am not so sure about the Republicans right now. Of course I can’t stand Donald Trump. I liked Ben Carson and I’m still debating about him in my head, but I’m hearing things that are disturbing about him. But Hillary………she was really smooth and calm under fire. Very professional and she certainly has the experience – I mean Secretary of State…….that’s a job I wouldn’t want. Of course President is also way down on my list. But Hillary is SMART! She was really great last night. So if Bill and Hillary take over the White House again, maybe the budget will be fixed again. Even though he’s a dick, you have to give him credit for many of the things he does now. We can only hope scandal doesn’t follow them. And ENOUGH with the emails! Please!
So last night we had our Corrections Meeting. We’ve sold 125 tickets to the picnic. We will probably have 300 or so at the event if the weather is great – which it probably will be – let’s be positive! Bruce McAndrews is amazing. He’s going to do the shopping for the food again. Emilio seems a little overwhelmed, but we’ll pull it together. With Polly, me, Tim and others who’ve done this gig before, it will be great. Here is the flyer:
Emilio did this. We decided yesterday to give away a few other things for “Gifts” (Door prizes). First there will be an Anniversary Edition of the Big Book. There will be a Subscription to The Grapevine (paid for by the committee), and there will be 2 Tickets to The Gratitude Dinner. Bruce is going to donate those! So that will get people there! Not to mention the 50/50 Raffle which Polly loves to do and sell the tickets for. So it’s gonna be GREAT.
Well, way out of time – 5 minutes over! So I’m finished for now. Thanks for visiting. Leave a message!

I must say I was surprised to see a post from Wednesday! We haven’t watched any of the debates….I’ll wait until the election gets closer. That’s one of the great things of living in the middle of Yellowstone…debates just don’t seem all that important. Most folks out here don’t even have a TV, and there’s not enough bandwidth to watch it over the wifi. Have a great Friday!
