It is really funny, but Bill and Cathy don’t need to worry about that because they are IN Arizona, although I read this morning that there was an earthquake near Phoenix yesterday so maybe that was “telling” Arizona they should get on board with that Daylight Savings thing!
Had a very busy weekend this weekend and same with next weekend. I can tell “season” is upon us! Anyway, I spent the weekend at my favorite HOTEL – The Naples Grande with a bunch of drunks. It was the 7th Annual Serenity by the Sea. It was really good. I got to participate in numerous meetings and heard a number of speakers. We also set up the Grapevine Table and made $44 in the Guess the Grapes game. Roy was SUPER. Here are a couple of pictures of the new display and “Butler Boy” aka “Grapeman”!

Steve and Roy built the new trellises and the shelving for it. They painted it white and then the edges in deep purple. I think Steve did most of the work so I’ve made him an “honorary” member of the Grapevine Committee. I hope he starts coming to the meetings so we can officially have 4 people on the committee. Time will tell!
I spent the night with Betsy. She is going through a “rough” patch. She recently got married and is afraid it “may” be a mistake. She is telling me she has nothing saved and is in a lot of debt. Makes me realize “YET AGAIN” that I’m lucky to be working and still saving money. Makes me take “paws” about retiring too early. She is 66. She is getting SS and working as a CNA with various services and on her own. She has a car and a house, but is tied up in other issues with her new husband. So we’ll see how that turns out. I love her and wish her well. I’ll just keep her in my prayers. It will work out for her I’m sure – that is what we are told to believe and so it goes.
Well, I’m out of time today. It’s light out now – for the first time in 6 months! That’s what the time change does for us! Have a wonderful day. Thanks for visiting.
