Good Morning Everyone and Bill and Cathy and beyond,
So today is the day before my birthday. I’m celebrating my birthday for 2 days. It is also my friend Polly’s Birthday (today) and her husband John is having us get together for Putt-Putt Golf. It’s gonna be a hoot. Here is Polly:

She is a great teacher at Lely High School here in town. She is such a wonderful, enthusiastic “cheer leader”. She is one of the most “fun loving” people I know. She is always ready for anything! What a super friend and we share “birthdays – kind of”. Hers is today and mine is tomorrow.
Anniversary, February 20, 2010 – 5 years today!
John is her husband and he loves to cook. He brought a Birthday Cake in to the Naples Group BB Meeting last night for both Polly and me. So sweet! What a thoughtful thing! Anyway, we’ll be playing Putt Putt Golf this afternoon at 4PM. The weather looks a little “iffy” but hopefully by 4PM it will be good and I want to ride RED2 to the place.
I’m also excited because Dick and Doug are taking me out to dinner at a fancy restaurant on 5th Avenue tomorrow. I’ll bring clothes to work that I can “dress up” a little for the dinner. We’re meeting at their house after I finish for the day. So I’ll be celebrating for 2 days. Plus I’m really celebrating for 4 days because we got our “Christmas Gift” from the Residents of Moorings Park on Friday. $1100 this year! The most EVER in 10 years! Another reason I should try to “hang on” there for a few more years. But I’ve come up with an alternative. I’ve been saying that in my “retirement” I want to work on websites etc. So Moorings Park has the best website ever. So now my plan will be to work on that rather than at my job at Orchid Terrace. That would be a win-win for me. Of course I’ll see how it flies with Lily. And Lily is in Chile for 2 weeks. That is so cool for her and for me! It’s gonna be busy and stressful while she is gone, but at least Survey is over and we don’t have any work to do with that since there were no citations! It’s been a great year so far.
So Roy found a new place to live. It’s expensive – over $900 a month. Plus utilities. YIKES! He is working full time now, but still. He needs a roommate. I hope he finds one. I’m storing this for him:

Makes me want to buy another Kayak. I may go on Craig’s List to see what is out there. Now that I have TY, I can carry it on top of the car. But of course, now I need a rack for that. So that is going on my “wish list” for now. Of course, I could use my “Christmas Gift” money for that……..hummmm! More shall be revealed.
Cathy is visiting with her family in Georgia right now. I can’t tell if Bill is with her or not. This is a picture she posted on FB:

At least I think that is what he is doing. I vaguely remember him saying he was going to that. Anyway that’s what’s happening in the Bass Family this weekend.
It’s time for me to get going. I need to get ready for church. Then it’s on to PUTT PUTT Golf. Life is good!
