Good Morning, August 12, 2014

Hello everyone,

Robin Williams died yesterday.  He was younger than me by a little, born in 1951.  Sad story, such genius.  Didn’t know how to tame his demons apparently.  I liked him in his various roles, but liked Good Will Hunting and The Dead Poets Society the best.  I watched his newest TV show “The Crazy Ones” which was okay the few times I saw it, but I never felt the need to watch the entire episode and just caught glimpses of it while channel surfing.  God Bless him – I hope he is finally at peace now.

My cousin Dick bought a place in Naples the other day.   I think I mentioned that he and Doug had a place at Wiggins Pass and sold it for cash and the asking price a little while ago.  Anyway, they came down last week and found a place at Tarpon Cove off of Wiggins Pass Road.  It is just down the road from where they lived before, so they are happy in that neighborhood.  I’m glad for them.  I know it will be a “showplace” after Doug gets through redecorating it.  That will be fun to watch.

I’m working on the Picnic and Wiggins this Saturday, the Corrections Picnic (I have tickets to sell for $10) and the Gratitude Dinner.  We’re setting the ticket price on Thursday.  I think that is enough for now.  I’ve been thinking about what Steve said about my harboring a resentment toward my woman’s meeting.  I’ll keep thinking about that.  I like the time and location of that meeting, so I’m not sure I’ll stop going, but will watch and see.

Happy birthday, Amber, Terri and Denny today!

That’s about all for today.  Have a wonderful, joy filled day!
