Good Morning Everyone! Decided to start a new blog today because yesterday, I got a new iPhone!!
It is an iPhone 16 Plus. It has a beautiful BIG screen and I’m getting a holder for it today. I’m so excited. It only cost me $30 for them to transfer my phone over. SO it was PRACTICALLY FREE! I wanted to do that before Apple had to start making phones in the US. It would be out of reach otherwise. My other phone did not have enough space for an update and the battery was losing power too soon. The new one was at 95% this morning and I didn’t even plug it in last night. Only problem is that there is a new power cord that uses a USB C and I don’t have many of them, so I need to purchase those.

Somehow I caught a cold. We figured that it was probably from the DVRC Gym. Glad I got it this early and I should be fine by next Wednesday when I go to Sharp Creek. I feel better today already! I did sleep in and didn’t make my meeting. Sorry folks!
Beginning this again on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Only 4 more days and we’re CAMPING! I don’t have much information about this place – Sharp Creek. It’s up the road from Canyon Point Campground where we went last year. It is dry camping in a group area. There is space for 10 rigs and we have 8 rigs coming. I wish there were more, but it is what it is.
I love this picture of DAISEE2 and RED! I’m planning to go to Show Low in July, so I’m taking RED with me. I’m going to try again to find that property in St. John’s that belongs to Bette and Suzan. I’ll have Genie with me so she can help. If it’s nice, I might offer to buy it from them, depending on how much they want. It’s a little confusing finding the place, but with 2 heads, perhaps we’ll get lucky. I mapped it the other day and it’s only about 45 minutes away.
Learned how to take a screen shot on my new phone. It’s a little different. I’ll call them on Monday to talk about the property.
Today is Wednesday, June 4, 2025 and we’re traveling to Sharp Creek Campground in Payson. I’m taking Metaxa because the temperatures will be better than here in Mesa – highs of 75 (with rain), 82, 86, 90 & 92 but the over night temperatures are in the 50’s. So it should be ok for us. I’m not sure what we’ll be doing up there. We’re going to decide as we go. Maybe there will be some Geo Cacheing because Karen will be there. I know Robbin and Maddie want to explore the area in the Jeep, so I’m sure we’ll be entertained. I’m up early waiting for the coffee to be ready. I’m taking a shower this morning and I hope to be on the road by 9. We’ll see.
