Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday was our Intergroup Picnic. It was the 9th Annual one. I think I’ve been to all 9 of them! Here is a picture from the hot chefs yesterday:
I love this picture! Karen Brock took it and it shows how hot it was for our two selfless chefs Roy and Steve! Bill was their “task master” and supervisor. It is really a hard job. People don’t get it. Haven and I just stood around and collected tickets. We pre sold about 120 tickets. That was really smart so that’s a given for next year. A great suggestion for “service” for next year was to have a “shuttle” bring people to the pavilion when the parking got full. People were walking in from the gate and it was really hot and sunny.

I was really glad I went, but as the day ware on, I was getting tired and “bossy”. I need to work on that. I’m really glad Haven stuck with me for the day. She was a great calming influence. Just patiently waited until I got my act together.
Now I better get going. Off to church. I’m waiting to hear back from John in case we want to do something tonight. I think I’ll try that Summer Squash recipe that I saw on FB. Looks yummy. I have to go to the store today and finish the laundry along with vacuuming. Thanks for visiting!
