So two days in a row I’m “blogging”. I saw this picture again of Bill and Cathy and thought I’d blog about them. I really love their life together. So inspiring!

I’m looking forward to being with them in September. Jon and Ale, Kristin and Rodney and I are traveling out to visit with them. It should be a wonderful adventure. It will be interesting and fun. I hope Bill and Cathy can take a few days off to spend with677777777777777777777777777777777777777 (Domino walked across the keyboard!!!) spend with all of us. Cathy sent all of us this guide – it is really cool!
Yellowstone “Official Guide”
It is teaching us all about the area they love so much. We are only going for about 5 days so it isn’t a lot of time, but it should be enough to get a “taste” of their life. One day I’d like to spend more time with them. I know I will when I finally retire.
So Saturday John and I got together after the 5:30 meeting. I found out all about his trip. He started to cook dinner and by 9 PM it wasn’t really ready, so we had a salad and I left shortly after that to get home so I could get to church the next day. I thought that maybe we could get together again on Sunday afternoon but that didn’t materialize. Maybe sometime this week. I tried the spaghetti squash recipe and it turned out pretty well. I think I should cook him dinner one night. Maybe that would be good.
I cleaned the house yesterday. I’m always so happy after I do that because it seems like I’ve accomplished something. I especially like it when I mop the kitchen floor. It really gets dirty and it feels so much better on my bare feet after it’s been mopped. So I’m starting the week off right!
We have a tropical storm approaching Florida. The name is “Colin”. Let’s see if I can get an image of it:
Can’t seem to get that to work. I’ll need to try it again next time. Anyway, it is supposed to hit Florida near the panhandle, north of Tampa so we’ll just get some heavy rains. We’re supposed to start the driveway painting today, but I’m guessing that’s going to be delayed now.
June 8th: Colin was a bust. Just some rain but I was ready:
Shuttered Porch
I think I can tighten up the porch with the hurricane shutter. I didn’t try that hard to get it going this week. I believe there are little holes for the shutter to fit into. I’ll have to try it sometime when it’s nice out and I’m not fighting rain like the other day!

It is somewhere in the middle of Florida. We should try to find it one day when they come down for the winter. That would be an adventure. I think it is in Arcadia or somewhere like that!
