RV Life with DAISEE2 #139 Tuesday, July 22, 2025

Good Morning Everyone!  Today I celebrate 23 years of sober living!  It’s a good thing.  I’m speaking this morning at Daily Reflections on ZOOM.  Not my favorite thing!  But I know I’ll get through it.  One thing I’ve learned in AA, everything you do will impact someone and hopefully in a positive way.  DONE!  I got through it.  Only about 5 people there so it was fine.  There was a new guy there – hopefully he’ll go to a meeting.  Time will tell!

Not a lot going on right now. It’s just TOO HOT to do much. We cleaned off Daisy today from my trip to SHOW LOW. My next trip in August is back up there to Fool Hollow in Show Low again. I doubt it will be really cool there – I’ll just keep looking at the temperatures, but I will have electric and water so that will be great and the sites are concrete – no more DIRT!

This was my site last year. I think I picked a site around the circle which is a single site and will have a view of the lake. I’m looking forward to it. There are only about 9 of us at this rally. It should be fun, but probably very relaxing – no real agenda. I bought some new strips to put magnets on in DAISEE2. I love them and it frees up space for more on the bigger board. I have about 4 more I can use:

I was testing my new portable solar panel to try to run my Starlink. It did not work for it, so I asked about it in the RV Community and they were very helpful. The Starlink takes more than 100W to power up and this is just a 100W panel. I did get it to charge my phone. Anyway, they said it would charge my battery bank and then I would need to plug the Starlink into the battery bank to run. SO I could use solar to run my Starlink, but just to run it off of my Bluetti or Jackery:

It is Saturday, July 26, 2025. Nothing happening today. We’re waiting for Monday when Jerod will be here to install the carport by the garage. I’m excited about it. I’ll document it for the blog. Should be very cool!

I put a map of the National Parks and National Monuments in DAISEE2. I’ve decided I want to visit a bunch of stuff in my area. The first place is Tonto National Monument. Here is the map in DAISEE2:

As you can see, there are a lot of places to go out West. Lots of trips to plan!
