Good Morning Everyone! We’re beginning a new project today:

6:00AM

I’m excited about this project. It will be nice to have a carport on this side of the garage to keep RED out of the sun. Eventually, we’ll be bringing the GRAND over here – once Scott says “no more”! He now has a bigger car – an all ELECTRIC one and it is much bigger than his last one. So that day will come.
Learned about a guy who is 77 and is RUNNING across the USA – this is his 9th time doing it!

This is his route. It takes him about 3 months to do it. Just amazing!
More pictures of the project:

I think they may finish it today. It’s 8:30 AM and they are this far!

Lloyd came over to supervise!

It’s 9:30 and it’s mostly done!

Very exciting. Can’t wait to park RED under there!
I worked on Beth’s campaign back in the day. She is still a judge:
Donald Day was my DUI Attorney back in the day!
11:30 and they are done (except for the downspouts):

RED is very happy now!

Visiting DAISEE2 on July 30, 2025:

This picture was taken by my WAGGLE Camera – I love it!
This is our view from our NEW carport:

$3800.00 – a deal!
Starting this again on Thursday, July 31, 2025. I’m up waiting for my meeting. I chair on Thursdays! Not my favorite thing, but it gets me up and going in the morning!
Ran across this picture of Ziggy as a kitty:
I’ve been trying to find an A/C unit for Jack’s office for 2 years. FINALLY found THE one:

I’ve had about 5 epic failures. Like this one:

Anyway, it is over now. No more searching and experimenting.
I have a friend on FB named Peter Diaz. I know him from the Grapevine Committee from Florida. He posted this on FB yesterday. What a shot. I think it’s real – who knows anymore with AI!

I love this picture from Tucson when the kitties were babies!

I got a text message this morning about a fraudulent charge to my Apple Account. I was on the phone about it and it started getting very sketchy. So I hung up. I’ll wait to see if it was anything or not. I’ll keep checking my VISA card. It was sounding a bit familiar.
I got this today in the mail:
These are my videos of the unboxing in DAISEE2 with the A/C on and 92 inside – SO HOT IN MESA! Sorry they are “SHORTS” so you need to put in the browser.
Just found out today, that the Peakdo power station won’t fit on the Starlink with the Veritas cover on, but that is ok – I’ll only use it in a pinch anyway. Only if Boondocking, but I can power other things with it though so it might come in handy that way.
When I came home from the gym this morning I hit the big beautiful carport with the JEEP. Jack fixed it luckily. So I’m not going to try to park the jeep in there until we get the mailbox moved and more concrete poured. Here is the little booboo:

The corner of the bumper was moved out, but it could be replaced without buying another boxing glove. You can see (if you look closely) that the fender needed a little paint. The other scrapes were fixed by buffing them out. I was lucky. He even had to tighten the downspout on the first rail. Oh well, somebody had to do it and I’m glad it was me and not Jack!
This is our home:

I saw where Mike Wendling put his Starlink Mini on his dashboard, so I’m going to try it in DAISEE2 to see if it will work for me. Concern about theft will be fixed if that works. I can also use the suction cups perhaps to put it in the skylight of the shower. I may try that too, but it may be too big for that spot. I still don’t get how it works with that cover on it. I guess the radio waves just blast through it. MAGIC!
