Good Morning Everyone! I’m beginning a new blog because the last one was about De Anza and our Annual Meeting and it got LONG, so here we go.
Our plans for Christmas have changed. We were going to take DAISEE2 to Benson and spend the night there, but there is construction going on on I 10 and it is horrible according to many people who get stuck there on FB. AND it may rain on Christmas here in MESA so we didn’t want to move the rig since I paid $200 to get her washed. So we’re going to go to The Black Bear Diner again, like we did for Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to it. I think Jack might want to cook a meal at home, but no fun in that for me, so we’re going out!

Good morning again. Today is Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Two more days until Christmas. I’ll be happy when it’s over. Not a fan of the holidays. Waiting for my meeting to start. I skipped Sunday and I’m finding it harder to get up these days. Not a good sign. Anyway, off to the meeting. I’ll be back!

These are our lights at the house. It was taken last year, but it’s the same. I put the little tree between us and we didn’t have the carport by the garage, but it is the same – got this picture from my “memories” from yesterday also:

We made it through Christmas, now on to New Years!
Bill and Cathy and Winston got 3 nights in Lost Dutchman while I’m there with DAISEE2. I floated the idea that maybe Jack would be happier sleeping in the big bed and not in Daisy. Not sure that has connected yet, but we’ll see. They want to drive the Apache Trail so Jack can come up from Mesa to join us if he wants. I’ll keep you posted on that. It is Saturday, December 27, 2025. I decided to do the Blevins Trail at Usery this morning. It was cloudy when I started and got sunny along the way. Glad I started when I did!

I hiked again at Usery this morning, 12/31/25. Here are pictures along the 3 mile hike:

You can see RED patiently waiting for me in the Staging Area for the hikes. There are a number of other hikes I should try one day, but I love this simple 3 mile hike – can’t get lost and it is just amazing.
