I have made it to Williams to Railside RV Ranch. We were here as a group in 2021 during COVID and that was where I met Sue and Genie. Genie is coming in tomorrow and Sue is skipping it this year. This is causing some issues with breathing:
But this is LOVELY:

I am completely level without using those big beautiful levelers. AMEN!

I’ll go out and take a picture of my site shortly. I have a big 40′ TT to my left and Shannon is supposed to be to my right. My neighbors to the left have a towing trailer for their Side X Side so they can’t see in my windows and I can keep my big, beautiful windows open with the shade up while I’m here. I hope they are staying until Sunday like I am! My STARLINK is working great and I can BLOG!

There was snow on the mountains in Flagstaff! Here is my site this year! I had Mama and Papa the last time I was here.

This is where I was in 2021:

Shannon and Trish are my neighbors to the right!

We will be spending a lot of time in the CLUBHOUSE:

Sidebar – cuteness overload!

Shannon and I went to Williams this afternoon. We first checked out the Kaibab Campground. Rustic but great location. I still think TenX is really the best one to stay at if we’re coming to the Grand Canyon. As it is, we’re leaving at 7AM to get there in an hour or so. But it is going to be a beautiful, sunny day for pictures. I bought my Route 66 Clock for DAISEE2!

It was $50 but well worth it – it looks SO GOOD in DAISEE2!

We found my old boyfriend. Here I was in 2021!

Got arrested again!

These are my temperatures up here so I have my radiator on now and will run it all night on “1”.
Good morning everyone! It is Thursday, May 7, 2026. It’s COLD this morning! I woke up to this and turned on my radiator again. I had turned it off because it was getting too warm:

Got out of bed with this temperature:

Drinking coffee this morning and it tasted GREAT. Listening to NOMAD BRAD this morning. I got to say I feel that I have a more sophisticated BOX TRUCK. My Chateau is a square box too with everything I need.
We’re going to the Grand Canyon this morning at 7 – we’ll be there about 8. I asked ChatGPT where we should park. It said Parking Lot 1. The Visitor Center is there too. So glad Shannon is my friend because she has a truck to drive around like we did yesterday. I LOVE MY NEW CLOCK! It is beautiful!
Shannon and I drove to the Grand Canyon – got there around 8 and seemed like we were the ONLY ONES there. It was glorious. Hopped on the shuttle and drove around the canyon. Here are some pictures of our day:

We went to the Yavapai Geology Museum and found my GC Tee Shirt – long sleeved. It’s beautiful. This was along the route:

Stopped at a stop that showed all of the canyon villages from the view point. Here is the El Tovar:

Our weather was fantastic. Nice and cool and then warmed up as we continued on.

I’m way too old to attempt that hike – sure looks interesting though. A young family started on it just as we were leaving. Better them! This is the sign as you come in to Williams. Celebrating the Centennial Year of Route 66!

Saw a little wild life:

Took a video along the route in the shuttle bus: Our tax dollars at work – it’s FREE!
Tourists making noise – lots of Oriental Tourists. May be the only ones that can afford travel these days. All in all it was a great trip to the canyon. Glad we came a day early so we could go there. Happy Hour tonight starts the RALLY!

Good Morning Everyone! It is FRIDAY, April 8, 2026. Today would have been my dad’s 115th Birthday! Happy Heavenly Birthday Pop! Anyway, here are my temps this morning:

Today’s agenda is a day in town with the ladies. It’s turned out to be just 10 of us. I’m going to search for that boondocking spot that Larry from “Work Less Enjoy Life More” sent me. Here it is:
Only 17 minutes away. We’ll try it tomorrow!
We had a fire last night. It was really nice. Just enough heat for the evening:

We went to Williams again today and walked around. I found the TEE SHIRTS for me and Jack plus another one for YNP with long sleeves with the Grand Canyon on it. Like the Kartchner one with the little hood. So I’m done with my shirts for Yellowstone.

Dudley Do Rite came with us:

Genie doing her “thing” at the Junk Shop on Route 66!

We played SWOOP today. So much fun!

We ate lunch at a cool little place by the Hotel. The fries were GREAT – BBQ just OK:

This is my site with my bike down. Probably ride it tomorrow at some point.

Saw this great car in Williams with ELVIS in it!

Good morning everyone – it is Saturday, May 9, 2026. These were my temps early this morning:

I got up and put the radiator on 3 about 4AM. It was chilly then and I took a picture of the temps, but it was blurry so I deleted it. Probably about 55 inside at that time. I love it to be cold in the morning. I’ll miss these temperatures when I’m back in Mesa on Monday and it’s going to be 109!!!!
Today they are going to Bearazona. I think Shannon and I are going to try to find that boondocking spot that I got from Larry from “Work less, Enjoy Life More”.
Jack sent this picture of our flowering cactus. This is bloom #5! Looks like 2 more to go!

Final group picture. It’s been a great rally, but really, I’m ready to go home. I’m not sure whether it is the altitude or what. I’m gonna say it’s the altitude! Marci made a great dinner for us. It was delicious!

On the way to PIE – saw this beauty!

This is the PIE TIME:

This was our sunset the last night of the rally. The best one! Great way to end a wonderful rally!

Gonna shut this down now for the night. Will pick up the flags and white boards in the morning on my way out. Just more stuff to put in DAISEE2! Sure glad I have the room !!!!!!!
Travel Day and Mother’s Day! Here are the temps- I’m up for my meeting!

Gonna go to my meeting now. BRB! I’m back now. It’s 53 this morning and I’m in long pants. I know I’ll be hot when I get back to MESA, because it is 75 now! Oh well! Time to call Jack!
I stopped at a rest stop on my way home today. It was very cool – looked down on the Verde Valley. Here are a couple of pictures. The guy in the big rig beside me gave me a quick tour of his very fancy RV. It was beautiful!

Came home to this and only 1 more to go. What a great plant!
