Hello everyone,
As I was telling Steve this morning, by electronic mail, our presentation yesterday at work went very well. The good news is that I now feel comfortable with the equipment in that room. We have an amazing assortment of cutting edge technology in our community. In our CHL (Center for Healthy Living) there is a “black box” theater. The seats are awesome – just like Silverspot with cup holders and writing trays. There is a “control booth” that rivals any theater I’ve ever seen. I’m on a committee for Administrative Assistants (that’s what I am among other things) and we got a “tour” of it last month. I can’t imagine knowing how to use that equipment but it can probably do your laundry if you tell it to. I also learned yesterday to get the projector and screen to work. Open a powerpoint presentation. Open links to YouTube (I added those to the Powerpoint for my boss – I think I got a bonus point from her since our IT department is bare bones right now and no one was able to help her – of course I’ve learned all that through working with Bob and Steve – YAHOO) within the presentation and then play a DVD too. So all of that was going on and I think it was well received. I know I learned a lot, and of course it’s all about me you know. Thus this BLOG.
