Good Morning Everyone,
I was up at 5:15 this morning. Had to pee and I used this:
OK, it worked great last night and then this morning – disaster! It fell over before it had a chance to “gel” up. SO now my little runner is wet and so are my sheets. I’m sure there is a washer and dryer here, and I may use it.
But in the words of Roger Williams…always have a back up for your back up. So I have another set of sheets an I may use them. Will determine that as the days go on. Come to find out that Sadie peed on Suzan & Bette’s bed so we’re going to a laundromat perhaps. May be not. Time will tell.
Also, had another mishap: my coffee pot broke:
Sorry, the WiFi is really spotty here at the campsite so I’ll try later to get that picture, but suffice it to say, I can still make coffee in the pot (Thank you God) and I just need to be careful handling the pot. I’m going to try to find the pieces of glass and duct tape them to the pot – or not. We’ll see. I think it is getting light out now so I think I can see a little better to get some things done around the camp. Pictures to come. If I can get the WiFi to work better, although I don’t have any control over that, it is what it is.
I’ll be back later. Stay tuned!
We had to reset up – let’s say Bette & Suzan had to move. Something about the reservation not being available on Friday night, so we switched them to another camp site on the other side of me. The good news, is that we can have a bonfire now if we want. There is a fire ring that will work. It gives us a lot of room to spread out and the dogs will be happy too.
I’m going to add a few pictures, but maybe when I get home. The internet here is pretty spotty and this blogging is really slow. We’ll see how it goes. In the meantime. Thanks for visiting today. We went on 2 hikes, switched the campsite and now I’m ready for a little afternoon nap. I have the windows open and the AC on. I think I’ll close the windows for a while. This camper is really well insulated.
Oh yea, my “fantastic fan” isn’t working. The knob that opens the vent on the roof doesn’t seem to be engaged. So no fantastic fan on this trip. I’ll take it to Ft. Myers when I get back.
I’ve been told that things happen like that in a new camper. I’m not too concerned. I have learned that I’ve brought too much “stuff”. I’m throwing a bunch of stuff into the back of the car so I can move around. By the way, I can stand up in the camper if I bend at the waist. That works to get dressed.
Bye for now. Thanks for visiting.
