Hello Everyone,

Well today is “Hump Day”.  It is also the last Wednesday of the month and there is a District Meeting tonight.  I think it may be the “Elections” night also, but I’m not sure.  So I’ll find that out tonight when I get there.  Heather O has decided to step down as Archives Chairperson.  That is really a shame because she is so enthusiastic about the Archives Committee, but her schedule has changed somehow.  I know this because I’m going to read her report tonight and at Intergroup next Wednesday.  So I guess there are some changes brewing.  I still want to be Chair of the Grapevine even though I’m not going to the next quarterly.  Although I suddenly thought about the fact that I’m going to begin taking every other Friday off and maybe that is one of the Fridays.  If that is the case, I could drive up there for the quarterly on Friday.  But then it’s the driving home on Sunday that might be a “bear”.  Plus I’d need to pay for another hotel night and I don’t really want to do that.  I could take that Monday off too – I’ve got plenty of PTO banked so that isn’t the issue.  I’ll have to check that out.

I’ve started to work on a calendar for my church at FCCNaples.org.  I’ve been doing a calendar for us for a while, but I’ve decided that I should just use the Google Calendar that we have on our site.  So I’m doing that now.  But it has turned out to be a “little weird” because now when I log into the IG Calendar to work on that, it shows the items I’ve put in on the FCC calendar as well as the items for Intergroup.  But thankfully, the calendars at both sites are intact and only have their events on them.  So I guess Google knows I’m editing both calendars and is making it easy for me to see what is coming up on both calendars.  So we’ll see how this goes for a while.  It seems a little strange to me.
