So I made it to Hillsborough River State Park. I got here without any problem and I’ve been enjoying it so far. It rained and I was at the site so I lowered my awning and I think it will be OK for the rest of the night. I sure hope so. The last two times I’ve used it, it came down and I had to replace the roof poles. I hope a storm doesn’t blow in over night. I’m in Olivi@ now for the night. Except I’ll go out again to use the bathroom. I’m right across from it. I think it will be OK to walk over there in the dark. I’ll see.
I didn’t plan very well with food this time. I don’t really have anything to eat for dinner so I ate a bunch of turkey bites. I’ll cook the corned beef hash tomorrow in the electric fry pan. I don’t want to make a mess of the kitchen with all that grease popping all over the place. We’ll see how that goes. I forgot coffee again. I picked up some Hazelnut at the store on my way in. I am still hooked up to Otis. I’m going to try to walk back to the store tomorrow and figure out what I should do about food for dinner tomorrow night. Here are a couple of pictures from today:

This was as I drove in. The entrance to the park comes up quickly and Google doesn’t give me any warning. I missed it the other day when I was scoping it out with Betsy and I had to do a “U”y. Today I slowed down and almost missed it again. Lucky there wasn’t anyone too close to me – it wasn’t pretty!

This is right across from my site. Very close. It is nice and clean and there are a few showers. I’m definitely taking a shower in the morning. I got here at 1:30 PM and it took me until 6PM to set up. I rested between activities so it was a long process. And then in rained too, so I had to lower the awning. I’ve left it lowered for the night. Will probably put it up again tomorrow, but it doesn’t bother me having it down. It’s nice that I am short.

This was before I put the shade tent up. Here it is with the shade tent up and just about sunset.

I am so glad that I bought the second rug. I love the blue one – it matches my chairs so nicely!
Here is another picture of the set up:

This is really great! I am so comfortable in Olivi@ right now. It is 80 degrees in here which is great because before I turned on the AC, it was 99 degrees in here. The AC is MAGIC! Plus I can’t hear my neighbor families yelling and having fun. There are a bunch of people here and there are swings and play areas for the kids to play. I went for a walk around the loop. I’ll go for a walk tomorrow. I think I read somewhere that the suspension bridge is not available right now, but I’ll go see if that is true tomorrow. I’m going to go out now and get my water for the night. I filled it up, but I think I left it in the kitchen. Plus I want to see what it’s like after dark here. I’m going to see if I can VLOG in here. I have to reorganize this place a little bit to access the camera, but it should be interesting. See you later.
Ok so I did a VLOG and I’m going to try to imbed it here through YouTube. Not sure how I’m going to do it, but I’m gonna try. There are a few steps I need to do so I’ll be back.
So I learned that when the video is complete, everything is in the right direction. Best Days are at the Camper! This is fun! Now I’m going to go test this post on my iPad to see how it comes out. This is a blast. I can DO THIS!
