Ms. Days Ease RV Life #2

Today is Wednesday, August 28, 2019 and I am in Daisy with the AC on in my driveway. I am so excited! This chapter HAS BEGUN. I made a video this morning in Daisy and I’m waiting for it to upload to YouTube. It is slow going, and I think it may be because I’m using my MiFi rather than my Home internet. So I guess I’ll have to get used to that.

I think I’ll go get the kitties today to wonder around Daisy. I think they will like it. I’m trying to determine about the kitty litter. I think I might get a special one for in here. Robin from Creativity RV uses a deep one that they jump into and can’t spray the litter everywhere. She keeps it on the floor in front of the passenger seat. First of all. I’ll need to see where I can get one. Amazon of course! I think I’ll switch to that “World’s Best Kitty Litter” that Suzee uses.

First Video in Ms. Days Ease aka Daisy

Ok so now I’ve done it. First video. I’m sure there will be many more! I think I’ll video the kitties exploring! I could sit in here all day! But I will go out to the 9:30 meeting. Perhaps I’ll drive Ms. Daisy to rehearsal today. There should be plenty of parking for her. On second thought. I think I’ll wait until I practice a little more with her. Considering I’ve backed her up once into the driveway, which wasn’t TOO BAD, but I need more practice. Remember……..practice, practice, practice!

So I am using my bluetooth speaker that Lily gave me for the first time in Daisy. I’ve paired it to my phone. It works amazingly in here and look how tiny it is!

Lily’s Speaker and Nancy’s Cup

So these two things will be living in Daisy from now on! I think I’ll put velcro under the speaker to keep it from sliding off the shelf.

So it’s official:

$2000 License

So it is official and I paid my taxes to the Great State of Florida upon the purchase of Ms. Days Ease! The woman at the DMV saved me $250 because she found a plate that she could use that I still owned. Don’t know how that happened. May have been a scooter or the KIA license. And I paid with a personal check so that saved me 3%. I’m grateful that I asked for a little more money from John so all of these costs could be covered without pressure. Eventually, I’ll get that money back with my investments. At least that is what I believe so that gives me less stress. Now to sell Olivi@ and give that money back to John to invest. I’m sure that will be good. But she is tucked in nice and safe in the garage, so how ever long it takes, will be fine. Plus I want to have the title in hand before I try to sell her and I’ll be taking care of that next week.

I just tried bringing Wylie out to Daisy and she was having none of it. I’ll probably need to put her in a carrier and bring her in that way, plus I need to set up water for them before I bring them in.

So this shows how close I am to my garage. Pretty good, plus there is all sorts of room in front of her in the driveway. I’ll get that picture too:

Rear Bumper

So this rear bumper has 3 storage compartments. The closest one is is for the U connection for the dumping pipe. The middle one locks the receiver so no one can steal the bike rack or whatever is connected to it. The third one, Ken used for his dog shit, so I think I’ll do the same with my kitty litter when the time comes. Then I won’t have little bags of “shit” all over the camp ground. There is a Hurricane headed our way named Dorian. So I’m wearing my “I survived Hurricane Irma” tee shirt. I’ll be wearing it until Dorian goes away, which should be this weekend. Plus I’m going to keep Daisy in my driveway until it goes away. It should just be done after the weekend. It’s too bad that it is coming this weekend, because it is Labor Day and people have made plans to camp and travel. Well. I get to camp in my driveway! I sent a selfie from my iPad to email to upload here. Let’s see if it made it yet.

Here I am in my Hurricane shirt. Dorian is in the Caribbean right now heading for Puerto Rico. I think they are still trying to recover from IRMA. Anyway, it is only a Cat 2 so I’m not too concerned.

Waiting for the Hurricane

So this is what I am doing right now: The pictures are delayed, but I’m eating my first lunch in Daisy and I put my feet up on the couch along with the nice view of the date palm outside my window. The sky looked really threatening earlier, and I thought I was going to be caught in the rain in Daisy, but that hasn’t happened yet. I have noticed that the cab of the rig is not hot like my car gets. I guess that is how well the rig is insulated. What a wonderful thing! Very exciting! I just took the thermostat out of Olivi@ and brought it in here. The temperature lowered from 90 degrees to 84 degrees in about 10 minutes. I received the 2 EVA Drys. I think that will absorb the moisture when she is baking in the sun at storage.

OK now I need to go in to feed the kitties. I will try to get them out here later perhaps. I need to do some work for District 20. I have a deposit to do and write my report for Thursday. And I’m going to do it in Daisy! It is so comfortable in here. I’ve got my music playing through my little speaker. I think I’ll work on getting my ROKU set up on the TV in here. That will be a challenge! At least the HDMI plug fits in easier in this TV. Suzee would like the TV to work.
