Today is Saturday, August 31, 2019. I woke up this morning thinking about Daisy and wondering if the water pump needed to be on to run the toilet. I didn’t want to text Ken that question, so I texted Cathy. Still waiting for the answer. I think I’ve been using it with just the water that has been in the “pipes”. I’ve decided that I’m going to only “pee” in the toilet if it can be helped. Then I won’t have to worry about “aromas” permeating the rig. We’ll see how long that lasts.

So we’re all a twitter about Hurricane Dorian. It was a Cat 4 last night when I went to bed and I’m waiting to find out what is going on today. I want to go practice with Daisy in the parking lot of FSW across the street. If it is nice, I think I’ll do that. Yesterday was a rainy day. I sat in Daisy and enjoyed listening and watching the rain. She is so sound proof. I think even more sound proof than my house. I can hear cars drive by from inside the house, and I couldn’t hear them from inside Daisy. That makes her seem so cozy.
So this is how I’m preparing for Dorian:
I’ve been thinking about living in Daisy “full time”. I’m not so sure I can live that life. I do like my creature comforts. I like the feeling I have when I’m in my house. I might be able to relocate however. And I can live in her for a time, but would probably want to have a home base.
Time to check the weather. Be right back! We have just been removed from the “cone of uncertainty”. That is good news for us, but things can change. So we’re not “out of it” yet. But that is GOOD NEWS!
So I just went out to Daisy and tried my Sirius XM on the bluetooth speaker and it worked. That is exciting. I can play it in the rig! Since I’m paying for it each month, I should take advantage of it. But I may cancel it later for my “austerity” program. I wonder when that will begin…….?????
I’m going to the 8AM meeting now. I’ll be back. Went to breakfast with Bette & Suzan.
