Today is Sunday, September 1, 2019. It is the first Sunday of the month & it is the free breakfast at NAC. It was not really that busy & there wasn’t much food, but there were plenty of eggs & sausage, so my Keto diet was good. We made $50 on the 50/50 raffle & Suzan won it today! That was great!
Yesterday Suzan & Bette stopped over to check out the rig. The first thing Suzan pointed out was the water stain. Here is a picture of it.
We did some investigating & it seemed that the rig had a water leak while it was stored at an incline. I texted Ken & he said that it happened before he bought it. He just returned from an 11,000 mile trip, and it didn’t bother him. I think my first cosmetic project is to rip out the carpet & replace it with laminate. I’ll try to get that done when I visit Bill at Thanksgiving. Of course I did learn that buying used would just have you inherit other peoples problems & to check for water damage & if found, walk away quickly. Well I didn’t do that & Suzan would have walked away, but I’m not going to worry about it. There is no mustiness in here at all. The carpet is pretty dirty, but I don’t think I’m going to worry about that either.

Metaxa has found a little spot behind the chair to hide in. She isn’t afraid, but getting her out from under that chair may be a bit of a challenge. I think I’ll lie down on the couch and try to get her to come out.
So yesterday, Cathy sent me a link to where they live in Benson, AZ. I really love where they are. I think I’ll really like it out there. The mountains are all around which are beautiful. It’s a combination of RV’s & Park Models. I found one that I really liked for under $100K. So I’ll be able to get that simply. I don’t need any more than one bedroom & 1 bath, so that should be plenty of space for me & then I’ll have Daisy for guests. I’m really excited about that.

Now I’m going to see if I can get Metaxa to come up on the couch with Wylie & me so she’ll get out from under the chair. I’ll take them in to the house around 3 to feed them & maybe take Daisy to college to practice parking. Here is my video from my practice at FSW today.
