Today is Wednesday, September 4, 2019. I took Daisy to Collier Seminole State Park for the day. It cost me $14 for a space with a hook up and a dump station. “Full Hook Up”. Next time, I’ll take a place “overnight” and with my discounts, it would only be $12 and dumping is included! I pulled in and backed her up. My neighbor at the time was a group from Ft. Lauderdale running from Dorian. They were leaving to go back to Lauderdale since the storm has moved up north. As soon as I started backing in, the woman, on a walker, Tammy came over and started talking to me. It was the first time I had ever backed into a camp site. It was pretty easy. But first I wasn’t close enough to the dump station so I had to move the picnic table and back in more. One of the men with the group, Mike, came out and directed me by standing in the right spot so I could see him in my mirror. So help at a campground is always there. They were a motly crew but friendly. Mike was the “experienced” one. He was teaching the young guy, with an amputated leg, how to do stuff. He told me he had inherited the camper from an uncle or someone and he didn’t know anything about it either (like me). Anyway, they helped me connect my hose and I dumped for the first time. I did not take a picture. Except of the gauge afterward:
I’ll be interested to see if it registers even lower since it’s supposed to be empty. I think I did it OK.

It was really empty in the campground. There was just 2 other campers. And then, after the crew left for Ft. Lauderdale, this happened:
So now I’m thinking that I talked about this yesterday in my post. I remember saying “my business and none of my business”. Oh well, this is a repeat. There are worse things! So I do think it is interesting that he didn’t lock anything up and kept his bays open when they left to go paddle boarding with the alligators. Hope they made it back. I bet he even kept his door unlocked! BOYS!
