Today is Thursday, September 5, 2019. I’m in Daisy blogging on my iPad. I used the Sit N Cycle for a bit of time this morning. Still not happy with my lack of exercise! It’s totally my fault though! I’m LAZY!
So this came yesterday:
I looked through it & to get to Arizona, I noted 9 maps I need to use & there are probably a few more! I’ll be going through, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico & Arizona! Wow!
I also added various items to Daisy, from my first trip to Collier-Seminole State Park. Tool bag, camp shoes, rain gear, solar chargers, batteries, calendar, clock, AM/FM battery radio, Irish Spring Soap, camp chair & a Daily Reflections. I am really trying to be careful about what I put in Daisy. I don’t want here to get too crammed. I want to have all I need to hit the road, but not so much that I feel cramped. It’s a slippery slope. I am now keeping track of purchases for Daisy. So far, beyond the cost of her to Ken Hill & the huge tax I paid to the State of Florida, I’ve ordered a sewer extension & those lift things to raise the hose to the full hookup. Then my insurance was $49.00 until my insurance renews in November.
I brought this to the rig today:
This clock I’ve had in the house for a while & it wasn’t in a place that I could read it. I love it in the rig because it’s the perfect size for Daisy! Plus it gives me the date & air temperature! NEAT!
So yesterday I was looking at these:
I have 2 of them. I’m supposed to use them when I’m hiking in case I run into a bear. I think I’m going to get a better spray for later, but these are pretty cool & compact. I made the mistake of spraying it inside Daisy & it was really effective! I was choking from it & I needed to air out Daisy for a while to clear it out. It wasn’t fun, but at least I have a weapon I can use on the road if necessary!
