Ms. Days Ease RV Life #17

Today is Thursday, September 19, 2019. I’m not feeling all that great today. Yesterday I was bitten by “something” – thought it was fleas, then ants, but it happened in Daisy and I still don’t know what bit me. I had an allergic reaction and my hand swelled up as well as a bite on my arm and leg. So I called Diana to bring me to an Urgent Care. Just discovered the one next to Skillets at 951 & Grand Lely Drive. That is good to know since I can get there easily from my house. I am now in their records so that is where I’ll go from now on when something happens. Anyway they gave me a shot in the butt of a steroid, another pill for inflamation and another one for something else – can’t remember right now, but all of that made me puke. So that wasn’t very fun. Anyway, I got a lot better pretty quickly – it must have been the shot! But this morning I’m not 100% so I’m going to lay low. I may make it to the Cookie Meeting tonight, we’ll see.

So this happened yesterday:

Otis2

I thought when I got the cover that it was too big, but not so. Fits perfectly. I love it! I went on YouTube yesterday to figure out how to remove the hard top and put up the soft top to Otis. Well, it is pretty complicated, plus then you need to put the hard top somewhere to store while driving around with the soft top. I also learned that the doors come off also. There is supposed to be a tool kit with the Jeep, but I think that has gone bye bye, but I’ll check in the back where the jack is and perhaps it is there. You have to remove screws and unplug wires and do all sorts of things, so I doubt I’ll ever want to do that. I think if anything, I’ll get a roof rack of some sort, but I’m not sure what type of rack will fit on it. I’ll go to Google to see what is out there. I think I could put the kayak up there easier than I could have on the other Jeep since it was taller. We’ll see.

So I got Prednisone to take from the Urgent Care place. Can you believe it cost $.42! Amazing! Diana said she got an opiate when she had her knee surgery and it only cost $.55! No wonder there is an Opiote crisis here in the US. $.55 for 55 pills! And Insulin costs $700! Something is really wrong with that picture!

So yesterday I found this little gem on FB:

Alzheimer’s Test

If you look in the corner of the mouth on the right, you’ll see it. It took me a while to find it, but it’s there. Whew! Suzee couldn’t find it – now she’s worried!

I couldn’t find my MiFi yesterday. I looked high and low but finally found it in Otis2 in the console. That was a relief!

Well I’m supposed to take 6 pills this morning with food, so I’m going to go make my egg thing and take the first dose. 5 tomorrow, 4 the next day etc. So I’ll be back. Back again.

I think I’ll do a little reading today and just relax. The temperature this morning is 73 which is super. I ate my breakfast out on the porch. The humidity is down also. It is a “cold” front that has come down due to the hurricanes out in the Atlantic. Thank goodness they haven’t done any damage to our state this time. More to come though, I’m afraid!

I just went out to Walmart to get a windshield shade for the Jeep and there wasn’t one that would fit, but I bought a side window shade that I’m hoping will cool down my driver’s side window. It’s raining now so I can’t test it, but I did find a windshield shade on AMAZON and it will be here tomorrow. So that is good.

Hope you are feeling better, and hoping to see some photos of your T@B 320. I think they are fine rigs. I’m taking off for two weeks tomorrow with my teardrop “standy.” Excited!
