Today is Saturday, October 19, 2019. I’m at Artsy Thrift on a rainy day. We’ve done $81 & started late due to the Tropical Depression passing by towards the Panhandle.
I’m planning to go camping tomorrow for 3 nights. I brought Daisy home in anticipation of taking off.
I got an UBER to take me to storage. It cost $7.50 & I gave him a $3 tip. I waited 5 minutes! The guy couldn’t speak or understand English, at least he didn’t answer my questions, so that was my guess. He had a nice car – a Cadillac. So my first UBER ride was super. I’ll do it again. Glad to know I have that choice.
I was able to park in the drive & take the Jeep out. It was close so I’m going to keep Otis next door tonight & put him back in the garage before I pick up Suzee. My neighbors will be coming in on Tuesday for 10 days. Found that out when I asked to keep my Jeep there. They live in Germany. I’m still amazed that I can text him so easily on the internet!
I may sleep in Daisy tonight. I need to read up on the refrigerator. I want to chill it down as I drive. I don’t know if it is a 3 way. Gas, electric & generator. I need to turn on the gas at the tank if that is the case. Bill told me that I can drive down the road with the generator on. So I’ll need to do that as I drive to Estero. I bought two thermostats to measure the temps, plus I have a lot of “blue” ice for the freezer.

So Metaxa is not happy about the harness! I don’t know what I’ll do about her. Wylie is better!

So a new WAWA opened up in my “hood” the other day & it was the 200th in Florida so they were selling gas for $2 a gallon so I took Daisy to fill her up for the trip. Here it is:
Life is good! Really excited for my camping trip in Daisy. It should be a blast!
