It is now Monday, November 4, 2019. There are just 6 more days until I “hit the road”. Today I bought this: I just discovered that it isn’t “easy” to use this lock. If the bottom part doesn’t go on exactly “straight”, it jams. So I’ll probably carry this one in the bag and use the other bike for around town. The U Lock will be used at the campground when the bike is just “sitting” out. Time will tell about it!
Suzee found this at Walmart for $20. I returned the other ones I bought on Amazon which ended up being too small. This one, not only is HUGE, it could be used as a weapon if necessary! It weighs a ton! Anyway, it has a $1000 reward if the bike is ever stolen. Funny, this offer is good in Canada, The United Kingdom and the US except for New York State! Ha!!!!! So I am going to register it right now so if I have a problem, I will get enough money back to replace the bike. NOT BAD! I’ll be right back.

I bought one for Suzee too because they are on sale and I will get them this week before I go on my trip. I should be able to check my tire pressure which I will do on Saturday, when Daisy is in my driveway. I will use my 4Patriots generator for power from the garage so that it will reach the 9 VOLT adaptor – first time using that & I can use it to check the tire pressure on my EBIKE too. I can do that this week. Plus it is much easier than trying to use the hand pump, although I used that initially. So we will see. I’ll try that today to check the pressure in my ebike since Suzee said that we should check the tires because the FAT tires lose air quicker than skinny tires.
OK so this just happened! I was trying to register my lock and I needed a bill of sale. So I got a call back from Lectric. Spoke to a really nice guy named Anthony. He said I was “grandfathered” in with my $899 price so they are going to give me a $100 credit on the second bike I purchased for Suzee. WOW! THAT IS AMAZING! I LOVE THIS COMPANY. When I get out to Arizona, I want to stop by. I think Bill should buy one for he and Cathy, but they will need to buy 2!
