Today is Tuesday, November 12th – oh it’s Beirne’s birthday, I think he’s 73. Still trying to figure out how we got so old. I guess it happens! I’ll be 70 in 2020 – YIKES! Anyway, on to happier thoughts. This happened today:
I am so happy they are doing so well with this travelling thing, although I guess they have no choice, but they are calm and collected. Metaxa likes to hide behind the drivers seat when we travel. Wylie hangs out on the couch. I can see her with my rearview mirror so that is fun! They bundle up with me at night and they keep me warm. Last night we were all plugged in so there was no noise. I did hear the refrigerator running a bit. This morning the fantastic fan keeps spinning but not opening. It’s raining and I suppose there is some sensor that makes it close down when it rains. The temperature is 64 out side and 76 inside with 66% humidity. Bill and Cathy are complaining about the humidity – I think it feels great. But it is a change if you aren’t used to it. Speaking of Bill and Cathy:
So the batteries are SHOT. That is a project for us today since it’s raining – seems like a great rainy day project. Fortunately there are a lot of marine outfits where we can get a couple of batteries and Bill can install them for me! Wahoo! Plus as you can see, he has the testers and everything. I knew this was a great idea – following them to Arizona! It was their idea and it is going to be such fun!
Speaking of fun, last night we ate the most delicious grilled shrimp with asparagus and prosciutto. Bill and Cathy cooked dinner. I haven’t had a real dinner since I left on Saturday so it was a treat. Tonight I’m contributing the Aldi Salmon I have so that will be another great dinner!
