Hello Everyone,
So I started this late today, I was busy cleaning out my email. I try to keep them down to 20 and I had about 87 this morning. Many of them are just “junk” and come ons from sites I’ve visited. Some are important, but mostly it’s just a time consuming exercise. But of course I have too many email accounts. Gmail, earthlink, yahoo, wyliesaves (never have found this one and don’t know where to get it except maybe at GoDaddy) not to mention the email account for aanaples.org. I think I could stay online all day just managing email – sounds fun doesn’t it?
So last night I went to the District Meeting. Our Area Delegate, Don Fucik, gave his report. Area 15 includes, South Florida, The Bahamas, US & British Virgin Islands, St. Marteen, Antigua and The Cayman Islands. That’s a big area to be responsible for. I think it is pretty amazing that he is “willing” to come to our little District 20 with his big dog and pony show. He did have some computer glitches last night – no connection to the laptop he brought – but Gary G. came to the rescue. He had another laptop with him that he could connect to the projector. I have admired Don over the years. He is a very emotional guy. I’m not sure whether he will “carry on” after January. The way he was talking last night, I think he may not be. I’ll need to get the information on the changes that are occurring at the Area level since I need to update the website. I’m sure more will be revealed. I think Ralph said that Graham is going to be the delegate next. Ralph will know. I worry about our District though. There were about 30 people there last night. People (some men) I hadn’t seen before. Joe Kelly was there. John Fisher was there and so was Ralph, but no other officers. It’s a little disheartening – although Ralph doesn’t show it, I’m thinking he may be disappointed in the commitment of that level. With John F. chairing for the next 2 years, we’ll see what happens. Polly is going to be secretary which will be good.
Well, like I said, I started late with this, but wanted to add my “picture” of the day today:
Have a beautiful day today. Be sure to read Richard Rohr today. I posted it on FB.

Since I could not be there last night, I’ll be looking for some information which Don prob distributed. Hopefully! Will ask Ralph. Sad about “only 30″…where are the other 2,000+ ??
Polly and John never fail to entertain. They are smart (say, brilliant?), sweet, lovable, charming, …and then John is…WAIT….. I “was” writing about both of them. My keyboard insisted on making John a separate topic. John is smart, and, well, smart. Witty, full of creative, original ideas, (happily weird), and a good friend to all, even moi.
As per your instructions, Mary, having a beautiful stay-in day and read Richard Rohr earlier. I believe he’s my favorite guru!
Bye
