Ms. Days Ease RV Life #45

Today is Saturday, November 16th, my one week anniversary of being “on the road”! CELEBRATION!

This is what I woke up to this morning: Mist on the Lake

Mist on the Lake

So I found that I brought my thermos on this trip. And it kept my coffee warm all day and night. I had warm coffee this morning before I made a pot. It will be good to know so when I don’t have time to make a fresh pot, I can have warm coffee from the thermos! Life is GOOD!

So I took this picture this morning from the pier at our site.

Sunrise at COE in Jasper, Texas – Sandy Creek Campground

I also discovered something today………if I use my phone to take pictures in landscape I don’t need to edit them and turn them. What a concept. Lesson learned!

Here is another picture of Nature’s beauty!

Nature

I think I better get going. I’ll be back later to work on this post. Thanks for visiting!

Today we drove from Jasper TX to Georgetown TX. It was from 8:30 to about 4:00 today. We took a lot of back roads and NO highways! It was really nice. Cathy really knows how to get us where we need to go. We stopped after gassing up at an historical marker:

Lunch Site

We passed a lot of Historical Markers along the way. Here we are parked together having lunch in our rigs!

Lunch Break

It was a great place to stop and we were all alone. Got to Jim Hogg Park in Georgetown, TX and it is totally booked. But as I sit in Daisy, I can’t hear a thing outside and I know people are making noise – there are lots of kids. I love the sound proofing in here!

Our Fire Tonight – Great Success! Thank you Bill!

Fire tonight – wood was dry!

So when I got back in the rig after dinner tonight this is what I saw:

Metaxa playing behind the couch!

So my project for tomorrow is to try my shower. I turned on the hot water heater and the water should be nice and hot. I will try it in the morning. That will make me totally self sufficient. So far I’ve been using the campground facilities, but tomorrow that changes! Thanks Bill and Cathy for encouraging me to do it. I’ll let you know how it goes.
