Good Morning Everyone!
Today is Wednesday, January 8, 2020. I arrived in Naples on Monday night at 10PM and thank you Diana for picking me up at the airport! It was a long day – 13 hours on the road! So yesterday I got a LOT done! First of all I picked up my Jeep from the Dealer. I drove it off and on all day and it never stalled. BUT – we’ll see how it goes today and tomorrow! I’m hoping that on Friday, it will be on the truck to Arizona. I rented a car beginning on Friday in anticipation of that happening. I finally used my AARP discount to save 10%!
So this is how my yard looks now:

After living in Daisy for 2 months, I know I can live without all the “clutter”. I’m so glad I signed up for that “minimalist” course, as it got me thinking about “clearing out” things. This is Joshua Becker – he is the inspiration for minimizing:

As I write this, I am listening to this video. I couldn’t get the link to embed it here – probably for good reason so he gets people to sign up – I forget how much it was, but it wasn’t much and I really got a LOT out of it.
I need to get going right now. I need to weigh in – after 2 months! So off I go and I’ll be back in a bit to continue this. So come back! Finished weighing in – lost 1 pound! 129! YES!
I have come home and swept the lanai – it looks 100% better – I don’t think I’ll pressure wash it now. I also vacuumed for the showing today. I’ll be going out to lunch with Suzee and then get back into the house after 2PM so I can be ready for the Intergroup Meeting tonight.
I set an appointment with Kelly Roofing to come by on Monday at 10AM to check the possible leak on the garage roof. My next appointment is to get my blood work done.
Yesterday I went to Publix to get food for this week. I’ve missed my POLAR drinks!

The first day I left and Terry went by to visit the kitties she sent me these pictures:

I love these pictures. Terry said she stayed with them for 40 minutes and sang to them. SWEET! I’m sure they will be JUST FINE! Trying not to obsess about them. I do miss them in this house however. It is so weird that they are not here. Makes things easier though. I can leave the doors open and not worry about them escaping. Not that they would ever try to run away – they know they have it pretty good!
So now I have a couple of hours I can use to to pack up some “stuff”. A lot of my “stuff” is going to be given away. I must say, I should take it to The Current Shop, but it is going to go to St. Matts – much more convenient for me.
I think I’ll take Suzee to the new OAKES Market Place that just opened in Livingston. It’s supposed to be a circus – I know we’ll be able to find something to eat there. So off I go. I may be back later!
Thanks for visiting!
