Ms. Days Ease RV Life #81

Good Evening Everyone! I’m starting another blog tonight because if I added all the exciting things that happened today to that blog, it would be WAY too long! So now you just need to read 2 for today, or wait, your choice!

Where to begin? I guess with my first JEEP adventure. I took off this morning around 10 AM and my first destination was to Kartchner Caverns, mainly because I knew the way since I’d gone there to camp with Daisy. I wanted my first patch!

First Patch

So in 20 years maybe I’ll have something like this:

20 Years of RVing – Bill and Cathy Bass

My second patch is going to be from Saguaro State Park. I’ll do that next week. My GPS is going to get a work out!

So while I was at Kartchner, the Volunteer Co-Ordinator Kyle was at the main desk and I met with him. He is going to go camping over this long weekend, but he’s going to be available on Wednesday. He is supposed to call me, but I thought I’d try to make the application on line so he knows I’m computer savvy. We had a “mini-interview”. He has to go through the hiring process by making the phone interview, but meeting face to face is a plus I think – I think it went pretty well.

So after Kartchner I went to LOVES to fill up the Jeep – I was hoping I wouldn’t run out of gas because I had to send the Jeep with 1/4 of a tank of gas and it’s pretty far between gas stations out here! After going to LOVES I thought I’d go to the new place, but I went by Safeway and decided to pick up a few groceries and so I went back to CT RV and put the groceries away. Then I drove to the new place from there, so I wouldn’t get lost in Daisy. It was great. They said there was plenty of space and I didn’t even need to “dry camp”, I got to a site with full hook-ups! And this is my new home for a while:

My new site!

I can’t tell you how great it is having the JEEP here now. What FREEDOM! Bill was very gracious in offering his car whenever I wanted it, but I didn’t really want to borrow his car. So now I am set to go to the next level of traveling with a TOAD. So exciting!

Here is another video I took while walking back from the dumpsters:

Walking back to my site!

So now I’m done with the excitement of the day. It’s time to eat and then just hit the sack. Thanks for visiting for the second time today! See ya next time!

So this place has permanent homes plus camp sights? When does it get warm? Where are all those people from?
