Good Morning Everyone! It is Thursday, February 20, 2020 – 02202020 – thanks Suzan for pointing that out for me. I got my Daisy cleaned and waxed yesterday! So I’m posting pictures, but you probably can’t tell much difference, but believe me, she is SPARKLING! And the guy only charged me $200. Can you imagine having that done in Naples for that kind of money! Look how beautiful:
She is so smooth to the touch now. My friend Brad, worked from 7AM to 3PM with a break for lunch. Now Daisy is SO PROUD!!!!! And so am I!
You can see the antenna for the TV raised on the roof. That is the first time I’ve even raised the antenna. He said it was really dirty under there and I don’t doubt it.
I have additional good news! I got an offer on my place in Naples. I countered and they accepted it so I’m leaving on Sunday to drive back to Naples! Lot’s to do to get the place packed up. I’m calling some movers today to talk about storing my “stuff” until I figure out what I want to do next. I don’t think I’m ready to settle down in another “sticks and bricks” yet. I really like living in Daisy. Believe it or not, she is so comfortable and I love the “minimalist” feeling in her. She has everything I need. Plus I have the added attraction of being able to travel around to see this great country of ours. After selling my place in Naples, I’ll have money in the bank and my costs will be so minimal also, it might be nice to have that “freedom” from “financial insecurity” and once again, the promises DO come true!
While I’m traveling, my old home group The Naples Group will be having their Anniversary Dinner on the 27th. I’ll be in Lake Charles, LA but will be thinking about them. So Polly sent me the picture of the Candles for the evening – she does this every year and I have many of them – they are so beautiful – thank you for your service Polly!:
So the other night I set up my grill at my site here at SKP and cooked “jerk chicken”. Here is the set up!
It was pretty windy so I took my “reflexics” and used it to keep the wind from blowing out my grill. I simmered the chicken in Jerk Marinade and had a bunch of chicken for a few meals. It was delicious! I wanted to get “grill marks” on the chicken, which didn’t work all that well, but I think it will get better as I use it more and get used to it. I hate “mess” so I used the foil tray to cook in. So I think it was pretty much of a success.
Want to leave you with these two pictures:
The one above is both of the girls “sunning”! And then this one is so cute, I couldn’t resist it. Look at her toes!!!!!
So today is the first day I’ve put on a pair of shorts since getting to Arizona in November – WOW!
Well, I’m going to make some calls to movers and see if I can get an idea of how to store my “stuff” in Florida until I decide what to do with it. Stay tuned! Thanks for visiting!

Very hard to grill in windy conditions..unless, of course, you’re using charcoal and a Weber.
