Ms. Days Ease RV Life #102

Good Morning World! It is Friday, March 6, 2020. I love that it is 2020 – so easy to say! Anyway, still getting busy packing and sorting out. I have a bunch of stuff I’m giving to St. Matt’s. I am also trying to sell a few items on Marketplace. I renewed my ad for my Motorcycle Helmet and I have a guy coming to pick it up today all the way from North Fort Myers!

For Sale – FB Marketplace – $25.

I also put these things on the market:

Both of these are for sale – $50

Bette and Suzan talked me through what I should “store” and what I should let go.  They explained that it’s better to let some things go that I can replace when I need to do that.  Afterall, if it is going to cost me $275 a month to store my furnishings and I store them for 6 – 12 months – the money I spend on that will cost me more than it would to buy a new sofa etc, so this is on the market too:  (I’ve had these couches for at least 20 years – probably longer since I thought I only lived in the house for 4 years and I’ve been here for 7!).

The sofa and love seat are leather and in good shape!

I kind of think that I should keep these but they weigh a LOT and that is how they determine how much it will be to store them – it’s by weight.  My two quotes were about $900 different.  So I’m going to go with Peluso.  I am going to call them and ask if it would be advisable to come back after next Friday (when St. Matt’s picks up) and redo some of the quote, because I won’t have as much “stuff” to pack.  I would like to know what it would be closer to if I pack everything myself (except the fine china of Aunt Mary’s).

I am also going to sell this:

I never sat in this Lazy Boy much.  I’m usually on the couch!  I can get another one if I decide I need one in the future.

So I’ve discovered that my MIFI is doing a “fine job” of providing internet service for me now that I canceled my Xfinity High Speed Internet.  It works just as well and guess what – it only costs $20 a month – WOW!  I don’t miss TV either much because I can use my iPad and get Live Streaming CBS News and that is all I really care about.  I don’t miss those REALITY shows I watched like “The Voice”, “American Idol” etc.  I’ll just wait until I hook up with Daisy and use their cable when I need a “fix”!  And it’s only $350 a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  All inclusive – WST, Cable and NO property taxes, homeowners and flood insurance.  I do have an electric bill there for $.13 a KWH.  For a month it was $60!!!!

So I JUST put the Lazy Boy Chair on Marketplace and I already have a buyer!  LOVE THAT!  She is stopping by after work from Everglades City!

Just was advised to sell my TV:
