Today is Saturday, March 7, 2020. I am really having a great time cleaning up and packing away and giving away, but the real story is that FB Market Place is amazing! I put a ton of items on it to sell and I’ve sold my motorcycle helmet and the Lazy-boy chair. I have had the best experiences with it. I feel much better using that than with “Craig’s List”. Anyway, the couple who bought the motorcycle helmet drove down to Naples from North Fort Myers – an hour – for a $20 sale! But I guess it was worth it because I think I paid about $150-200 for it new! The thing I love about Market Place is that you communicate by FB Messenger and it’s just between me and the buyer. Yesterday, when I put the chair on, I got 15 inquiries about it. Dee ultimately was the “winner”. She didn’t quibble and gave me the $75. I don’t remember how much I paid for it, but I remember buying it from a house down on 17th Avenue South – right down from where I used to live – and they were liquidating the home and it was the last thing in the house! It worked great until it didn’t and Blake came by to fix it. Let me see if I can find that picture:

I’m sitting at my desk right now and Metaxa is sitting on my lap like she likes to do in Daisy in the mornings – it’s so sweet! I’ve decided to sell my stereo. I can not tell you how old it is. I know I had it when I was married! It works great, but Suzan convinced me that it doesn’t need to be “stored” for who knows how long when I have a radio – which I have. It is a CD/Radio boom box I’ve had “forever” and have never used. The sound is just fine. Not as good as the speaker system with my stereo, but it is JUST FINE!
I think I’ll sell it for $50. Who knows!!!!! Let me put it on Market Place and see what happens! I may need to get a better picture of it.
I just saw that Nikki’s play is being shown outside Sugden at 2PM today. I hope I can get a ride there to watch it. I could go again on Sunday at 7, but I don’t want to go to that one – although I could I suppose. I might try to LYFT it there today if Bill Strenkert doesn’t want to go. I just texted him to see if he wanted to go.

I am planning to pack a bunch today. I need to clean out my desk because since it is SO HEAVY – I might sell it too. Still not sure about that one. I have had this desk for quite a while and I’m so used to the configuration of it. We’ll see.
I just discovered that I have a printer in my desk that I can give away too, but the plug is under the edge of the desk that I’ll need to get the St. Matt’s people to pick up in order to get it out of the drawer.
It’s time to get moving. Thanks for visiting. I may add to this later, but now I’m finished drinking my coffee. It’s 7:30 AM. It’s only 55 degrees outside today! What a treat! We change the time tonight – I need to remember to do that!
I’ve decided to sell my rotating fan. I paid $55 for it. I’m going to ask $20.
