Hello Everyone,

Can’t believe it is December 1st today!  But it is!  The year has certainly “flown” by.  Speaking of flown by:  here is my first picture of the day:

Flock of birds at my mailbox

It’s pretty hard to see, but it is a flock of birds pecking the ground around my mailbox yesterday.  I drove in my garage after Church and there they were walking down the street.  My neighbors were out in the street a couple of doors down and it didn’t seem to matter to them at all, they just kept walking.  Come to find out later on when it got dark that they put their Christmas lights up over their garage door.  They also usually put their lights up on the palm tree near their garage.  I have next Friday off and I’m going to put my lights up then and my wreaths around the lights.  My brother Bill and his wife Cathy are coming in to Naples on December 13th and will be here a week so I want to have the lights up then.  This is how my door looked last year.

I’m glad I took this picture because it reminds me of what I have to put up.  Plus I need to get my Pink Flamingo fixed again this year.  I wish I had an outlet on the outside of the house by the garage.  Last year, the extension cord got “clipped” by the garage door and it threw the breaker.  I called my “Home Tech” people in to fix it and that was all it was.  So this year I’ll be more careful.   (Still waiting for the picture to get to my email).  Finally!

Katherine and Riley in Connecticut

This is my niece Katherine and her mom’s new dog Riley.  WHAT AN ADORABLE picture!  I got this from FB and now it’s on my blog!  Simply amazing!  I love technology!  Still re-reading the book about Steve Jobs.  I don’t think I’ve ever read a book twice in my life and I’m really enjoying it AGAIN!

Tonight is the Corrections Meeting.  We will meet for the last time on the first Monday of the month as it moves to the First Tuesday of the month at the 24 Hour Club next month.  I am going to need to move the Grapevine Meeting also.  It will be on the Third Tuesday of the month at the 24 Hour Club also (Steve you are the first to know about this, so mark your calendar).  The meetings will begin at 5:30PM rather than 6PM.  I asked Peter about our “financial” obligation for the use of the room and he said to “just pass the hat”.  I think that is pretty fair.  I’m going to give myself a membership at the 24 Hour Club for my birthday.

So I better get rolling now.  It’s going to be busy at work after having 2 days off and it’s Payroll Processing Day and with the Holiday it’s more complicated plus it’s the “end of the month” stuff that has to be done.  Yikes!  Oh well, it was worth it – I had a fabulous Thanksgiving!  I hope you did!
