Hello Everyone,

Well we had Elections last night at Intergroup.  It was very successful and there were a LOT of people there – standing room only!  That was good to see.  I’m happy for all of the Steering Committee members.  I think it will be a great team.  I’m very glad that Ralph is the Chairperson.   Gary G will be vice chair.  It makes me happy to know he’ll be doing that because I think he’ll be able to handle the “ticket” control since he did it for the “Rock and Roll Recovery Bash” very successfully.  Ticket control is “out of my control” this year.  Happy, Happy, Happy!  So to fill my time, I’ve decided to stand for Secretary of District 20.  Can’t let anything go completely.  But I think I’ll like that position and I’ll also be able to go to the Quarterlies on District 20’s dime.  Life is good!

This is a “payday” week so I get to be off tomorrow.  That’s gonna be good.  First thing I’m going to do is have a little “word press” tutorial with Michael at FCC around noon.  I’d like to know if there are things I can do at the website without Gary’s help.  Last night Gary mentioned that he was working on a new “app” for meetings that would use the same type of database that we’ve been using at the Intergroup site.  That way, the meetings will be updated seemlessly without having to contact Apple if there is a change.  I like the sound of that.  Time will tell.  It looked pretty awesome on his phone last night.

I’m finding that I’m really happy with my AA journey.  It takes up a lot of my “free” time so that is really good.  I have a really good support group and I know I can get help from all sorts of people if necessary.  I feel really fortunate to be among a group of such supportive people.

Well after futzing around on FB and doing emails, I’ve run out of time this morning.  Here is my picture of the day:
