Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! Today is Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and I am going to venture out today in OTIS2 to Sierra Vista to Bank of America so I can make a payment on my new house. I called (finally got through after 6 tries) and they were trying to convince me I could wire that big amount of money myself on the website, so I was not convinced that I could do that so I’m driving to Sierra Vista. I got there at 9AM and they didn’t open until 10AM so I stood in line for an hour before they would let us in. I’m glad I got there early because I was the second one in line and everyone stayed 6 feet apart and by the time they opened there were 25 people in line. So, they took care of it and they also gave me “voided checks” that I needed for John Beane. I don’t have any checks for my BOA’s accounts yet. I’m hoping I don’t need any and I can pay for everything on line. So after I got home from Sierra Vista this happened:
So now I have the keys to my new house and mailbox keys. So I can get mail here directly. Things are really falling into place. While I was at the bank, it was announced that all banks will be closed starting this afternoon – no more lobby available, so once again, if I had waited until tomorrow to go to Sierra Vista, I would not have been able to get the money wired!
When I got back, I was determined to get my printer to scan documents so I can PDF them and email them back. I got it done and now my forms that needed to be sent to John, were done and I have them in my files too. So that will make the closing on my place a lot easier. So I got so much done today! I even went to Ace Hardware for the nut and washer I needed and to Safeway for groceries. Now I really can stay in Daisy for a couple of weeks if necessary. Oh but I am leaving tomorrow to finish signing all of the paperwork at the Title Company. Now I really can get into the house to figure out what I need to do. Plus I and start putting things in the house out of Daisy. First thing I can think of will be the cooler:
I want to get that off of the bumper. I do need to clean it, so I may do that tomorrow with the water by my rig. I don’t want to move Daisy yet, because I am fully hooked up and I need to be able to dump out my black tank before I take her to my side yard. I’ll stay in Daisy until the furniture comes because Metaxa needs to stay in the rig while the furniture gets moved in.
So I re-homed my sculpture and fern to Suzee. This is what they look like now. Both look really happy:
My driftwood sculpture with Suzee now:
So that’s about it for today. Thanks for visiting!
