Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! Today is Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020. I made it to my 8AM meeting but thought it was the 4th. Now I’m into my 7th day of self imposed quarantine. I now have my mask as this picture shows: (I know it is a repeat of yesterday’s blog)
Suzee was the first one to get the mask as she works at home depot and is with the public 5 days a week:
Here is Suzan:
Here is Bill S.:
I see now that his fabric is all Jelly Beans! NICE! So I guess this will be our new normal! I kinda like the mask look – covers up a multitude of sins & wrinkles!
Just got this picture of Polly from FB:
So I need to go to the store and I’ll be wearing my mask to the store today. It’s a beautiful day here 56 degrees outside and 59 inside. I think I’ll turn on the electric radiator for a while to warm up the place a little. The wind is still keeping it cooler here.
I just read a blog that mentioned that one of the things we should due during this Social Distancing is to “journal” so here I am blogging which is journaling.
Just finished the Naples Group Meeting. It’s at 7PM Eastern time so I log in at 4PM. They are meeting every day at 7 which is super. That way I can see all of the familiar faces! I showed them this:
It was such a nice gift to me from them. I love having it in Daisy to remind me of how important a home group is. With these “ZOOM” meetings, it is like being there. So I get up at 5AM to make it to the 8AM Morning Reflections and then go back on at 4PM to go to the Naples Group. So it keeps me grounded and in touch with people even though I’m by myself (with Metaxa) in Daisy. Life is good! Thanks for visiting. Now I’m going to start watching “Bloodline” on Netflix! All kinds of ways to entertain myself. At some point I’ll probably watch “The Greatest Showman”! I may wait to do that with B & C when this self imposed quarantine is up next Saturday!

I haven’t been doing ZOOM. Brown Bag meets on Sunday (which I chair) we limit it to 9 people. Haven’t had to start a second meeting with a tenth person yet. Once a week is good so far. That’s what they did in the good old days.
