Ms. Days Ease RV Life #124

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It is April 7, 2020.  I’m sitting in Daisy and just made some coffee and the sun is coming up – it’s 5:55AM.  I’ve got the heater on this morning and it feels pretty good!  It’s only 60 in here – 45 outside.

Yesterday, I went to Sierra Vista to the bank.  I got my money wired for the last payment on my new home so it is REALLY Mine now.   I also got the cashier’s check for the move of my furniture which will be here next week.  Once all of my furniture is here, I’ll move Daisy up to my property and bring Metaxa into the house.  It’s all pretty exciting!  I also gassed up Otis2 so I won’t need to go out anymore over the next week or so, except for groceries.  I found out last night, that they close the little restaurant here on April 15.  That is a little disappointing, but understandable.  Last night for dinner I had meatloaf and sweet potatoes.  It was wonderful!

I’ll put the picture up later.  My MIFI died – the battery is destroyed.  I kept it plugged in too much so it “expanded”.  Lesson learned.  The Verizon store here doesn’t have a replacement yet, maybe next week.  So I’m using the CT-RV WIFI and it’s VERY SLOW!  Yesterday I set up with COX cable to get high speed internet at the house.  It should be set up in the next 3 weeks or so.  Today, they set up my gas service.  I need to go empty out my 3rd day of Ice from the freezer and then my fridge is all set for water and ice!  Every little thing is exciting!

Gonna get dressed now so I can walk up to the house and do my morning walk.  Thanks for visiting!  I’ll probably be back as the day progresses.

So guess what?  I got my MIFI to work.  Bill told me that it should work without the battery so when I got back, I tried to make it work again.  I took the battery out for a bit and then put it back in.  Plugged it in and now it’s working – so just saved a bunch of money again.  It’s fully charged so I’ll unplug it and see how long it will work without being plugged in.
