Ms. Days Ease RV Life #180 9/11/20

Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors.  Day #163 for me in this Pandemic!  Day #23 in my 50in50in50.  I haven’t been to another state yet today, I’ll do that after a while.  I want to try the 24 Hour Meeting at the 319 in California at a different time during the day.

So Today is:

I was listening to the services on MSNBC.  I heard the President speak and Kamala Harris speak.  I like that Joe Biden said that campaigning is not happening today, instead it is a day of remembrance.  First Class!  I sure hope he wins the election!

I have this on my fridge and on my car.  Thank you Dick Peebles for getting it to me.

Speaking of “getting it to me”!  Yesterday I received my 4 meals for my Tovala oven.  This is how they are packaged:

They are so cute!  Very well designed!  I had the Eggplant Caponata Pasta.  It was really tasty.  The side salad was in a little plastic container like you get Ketchup in at a fast food place.  It was “just a taste” of capers and other relish type items.  I just threw it on top of the Eggplant Pasta.  It was 15 WW points.  I figured out that my WW app has a calculator built in that can determine points.  I usually use the scanner, but these meals don’t come with that type of a scan.  They come with QR Code that the oven reads to cook the meal.  I have “Curried Sweet Potato Tacos”, “Honey Mustard Salmon”, & “Buffalo Chicken Melt”.  They all look very appetizing.  The jury is still out as to whether they are worth $10 a piece and whether it will save money in the long run.  I know that I’m committed to a certain number of meals, but once that is satisfied, I can slow it down or eliminate it.  Cooking for one has always been difficult for me so these meals make it much simpler.  We’ll just see if it works or not.  But the Tovala oven comes in handy anyway and will cook stuff other than those meals as this picture shows:

Since I haven’t used my GAS oven, I feel more comfortable with this little oven instead.  One day I’ll use the gas oven, but I’m not in a rush at this time to use it.  I do use the stove once in a while – I love corned beef hash for a dinner or breakfast so it gets used for that.  If I start getting into soups when it gets colder, I’ll probably use it for that.  I still love my crock pot and instant pot, not to mention this:

I’ve found cauliflower crust pizza at the Safeway’s here and this pizza cooker is a deal changer!  It crisps up the crust and I really feel pretty good about “cauliflower crust” pizza.  1/2 pizza is only 11 points!  But sometimes I eat the whole thing so I have to be careful when I decide to have pizza.

I went for a walk this morning and came across this little wildflower:

It is just a weed, but is pretty cute!

I’m going to go to a meeting now – I need to add to my map so I’ll be back later to say where I visited.  I got to NEBRASKA today!  YAY!

So today is really nice – it’s only 70 degrees today so the door is open and I’ve done my walk already today.  This is really cool – now that the weather is “cooling down”, I’m so excited about this:

There are 6 rallies here in AZ this coming year.  The first one is in Quartzsite, AZ in January in BLM land so I definitely will be going to that one because I want to try Boondocking and this is the best opportunity for me to do this.  SO excited!  Then the 2nd one is at Kartchner Caverns State Park in February.  So this shows something going on every month for 5 months.  Then I don’t need to do the planning – it’s planned out for me.  I’m so excited.  I’m trying to make a reservation for the March Rally but it says all of the sites are booked.  Maybe I need to be on the wait list – hope not!

Went to the 319 meeting and even shared today!  This was shared and it’s a great song for us alcoholics!

This is a great song.

Finally got an email from Robert Henderson regarding the thing I won at the Virtual Rally through RVW.  It’s supposed to be some steering mechanism to help keep my RV safely running in wind etc.  I forget what it is called, but it was a pretty good deal I believe.  Anyway, more will be revealed!

Going to go now.  Thanks for visiting!  Keep coming back to learn about all of my adventures and misadventures!
